The guide maxes out your chances so that someone can ask to move out but it's still random. If it takes too long then just restart, talk to all your villagers then keep trying

When they are invited by another player and change islands, villagers retain their gifts, and some people understandably don't trust others to have given them only things that will suit their style, and therefore would rather want the villager ungifted to be sure

They're too close to each other. You can plant them with more space in between until they're fully grown and then dig them up and plant them back in this pattern tho, they should grow fruits like normal then

You can only do mystery islands right now, you won't be able to invite villagers from other players' islands until you have 6 villagers moved in on yours.

I could also use some help getting my island to 5 Star. I am currently at 4 Stars. Isabelle mentioned there are a lot of "items laying on the ground". I'm assuming this refers to items that are dropped as opposed to placed, is this right? Do certain items even 'placed' junk up the island? What about tree branches that constantly fall daily, do these affect the rating?

the items laying on the ground are referring to dropped items rather than placed items. as far as i’m aware placed items do not contribute to this and neither do tree branches or stones around rocks !

sorry for my poor english, but which point are you referring to? if it's building theme for islanders' houses, then you need to finish the story of the HHP DLC. but if it's building theme for your island, imo, you can slowly start whenever you want as long as you have furnitures (etc) that suit your dream theme. oh especially after getting 3 stars, that means you can terraforming. sorry if i didn't answer your question, i barely understand english.

I haven’t played in over a year and am having trouble getting the time travel move out method to work (this one: https://yuexr.github.io/acnh/moveout.html) I’ve played a few hundred hours since launch and this method always worked for me after a few tries, but I’ve been time traveling multiple months and across like 2 years and haven’t seen a single thought bubble. Am I doing something wrong? I have the time around 1 pm as per the guide.

It could just be bad luck. Also if you reset your island since you last played make sure you’ve introduced yourself to your villagers

Usually we recommend starting over if you go through 15+ days by going day by day with no bubble

Flea is rare. It’s just random when they appear on your villager’s head. Listen to a different sound or you can see them bouncing on their head. Or if you talk to them they’ll tell you that they are itchy. Having lots of flowers and trees doesn’t matter

You must invite an Amiibo villager and craft them their requested item 3 times in order for them to agree to move in. It doesn't need to be 3 consecutive days, just 3 days total.

• What if I have an open plot?
Amiibos still need to be invited 3 separate times, even if you have an empty plot.

• Can I choose who the Amiibo villager kicks out?
Yes, just make sure you've spoken to that villager at least once and their house isn't currently being relocated.

If you have less than 100 slots upgrade your designs app to the max so that you do. Other than that I just use overlay paths

They have at least one transparent pixel so that they fit right into the default path borders when you put them on top

One additional detail I may want to add - if you want to optimize your slot space, you can safely delete your face paint, island flag and phone case designs if you have those. They are exceptions to the rule and will stay on even after you delete them from the app

They can still move in. In that situation they will probably choose the one that's moving out otherwise you will need to place a plot

You can play on both consoles but not at the same time from the same account. If your primary console has an alt open while your secondary has the rep open, that should still work.

Online is also per account. So you’ll need the family plan if you’re gonna do online stuff from more than one account. Not sure what the prices are like in your region but in the US the family plan is the same as two individual memberships anyway so even though I played online on 2 out of the 8 accounts I still found online worth it

Yes, the first camper will always be a smug, he will appear the day after the camping is built.
• Do I need an empty plot for campers after the first camper?
If you don't have 10 villagers yet you need to place a plot for the camper to be able to move in.
If you already have 10 the camper will replace a random villager, that will immediately be in boxes once you've agreed.

Next time you do it, you can also talk to Tom Nook and get the moving kit for a villager you do not want to leave, this means they won't get the bubble and so there's a better chance of the bubble falling on the villager you want. You can always give the moving kit back after you've finished

Like with any other amiibo, if you scan them, you'll be able to order their poster from the Nook Shopping promotion tab. You can also invite them to Harv's for a photo shoot, Brewster's for a cup of coffee and exclusive dialogue, or to the DLC island for a vacation home (which will also give you their photo)

Also, if you try to invite them to your campsite your also get a little bit of bonus dialogue

If you are talking about the first 3 villager you build plots for, Shino is a peppy, a personality scripted to move in, she's as rare as any peppy villager, and on mystery islands, as rare as any deer. there is no real "rare" villagers only popular ones

And in any case, though optimized, the method is very luck based and you might just be having quite bad luck. it's more common than you'd think

• Villagers' gifted clothing can be removed by complaining to Isabelle about the way they dress when they actually wear the clothing item in question (note that she will remove all items currently worn by the villager).

•• Replacing Furniture ••
• Villagers have the option to invite you to visit their house when you are at a high enough friendship level. During this visit, they'll eventually propose you to buy one of their displayed items. Doing so will remove the item from their house.
• Owners of the Happy Home Paradise also have the option to directly customize villagers' houses after completion of the main part of the DLC. This also unlocks the option to reset the houses to their default layout via Isabelle.

If so, you're just having bad luck; it's only a 6.25% chance of getting a green mum from each succesful hybrid yellow breed, meaning if you're watering alone, it's only a 0.3% chance of getting a green mum every night per each pair of hybrid yellows. Remember though that you can use the purples you get from the hybrid yellows in order to try and breed greens with a higher chance!

It's unfortunately a very luck based process, the chances are you're doing nothing wrong and are just experiencing bad luck

There's not a lot you can do, except just keep trying! If you want to raise the odds a little, you can ask Tom Nook for a house moving kit for a villager you want to stay, and keep it in your inventory, as that villger won't get thought bubbles until you return the kit
