Time traveling does not reverse / rewind progress. You still keep all the progress, items, etc. that you've completed / acquired even if you time travel backwards.

You would close the game if you tt, bc the game doesn't recognize you've change the time unless it loads up again. Also if you tt backwards, there won't be morning announcements, don't worry bc the next time you go forward in time the morning announcements will return

If there are preparations to construct something or mail ordered things, they be done the next day. If you go back in time, the project/mail won't come yet until the day you move the day forward. But going backwards will never reverse or undo donations or friendship or diys. 1 negative thing going backwards is buying turnips with intent to sell them, bc they rot if you move the time ANY amount backwards.

ANCH is the kind of game where you can't really lose progress ie there's not many points of no return. There are so many things to do in the game but the game does a good job at giving you things to do little by little. You can follow the guide posted above & it'll tell you many things such as, make sure you really like your Island name bc it can't be changed heh

Name (both yours and the island) and where resident services, the airport, and the beaches and river mouths are can’t be changed without resetting. And if you cared what native fruit is in your passport that can’t change without resetting either.

That's normal. The game randomizes the prices when you TT. I guess it's like that so you can't abuse it

Heavily gifted = gifted a bunch of stuff (clothing, furniture, food etc)
Light gifted = maybe like 1-5 items they’ve been gifted (clothes, furniture etc)
Ungifted = default clothing and furniture
Voided means they got sent into the oblivion since no one came to claim them. People tend to just void them if it’s an unpopular villager and they really want an open plot for a dreamie

Yes, the first camper will always be a smug, he will appear the day after the camping is built.

If you don't have 10 villagers yet you need to place a plot for the camper to be able to move in.
If you already have 10 the camper will replace a random villager, that will immediately be in boxes once you've agreed.

I found out what went wrong, and it's pretty important to know. If you target certain villagers to want to leave, you CANNOT ignore them or the speech 'oh we haven't spoken for a while!' Overrides the wanting to move bubble, it's a higher priority. As such, I had 6 targets all being ignored by me, and the moving bubble could have been moving between them the whole time but they were prioritised for the ignoring text.

Generally speaking, Villagers are only as "Rare" as people want them. Meaning nothing is more rare than anything else objectively. The only thing would be the newest set of them is probably harder to find? But it's not really any rarer at this point.

You can water your flowers once a day and also plant more flowers. Isabelle often says to plant over 100 flowers to get more points. If you time travel you can make them bloom faster, otherwise you don't need to water than more than once a day. Rain and snow also waters your plants for you.

Ok so I just finished furnishing the first extra house you get on your island. (You know how you have to gather the furniture for three different house plots in the beginning of the game.) Well I talked to Tom nook and he mentioned he would have someone moving in tomorrow. So I went to check the house again and it already had a villager name on it??? I thought maybe I could create a new player the next in game day to see who would be moving in. And soft reset if I didn't like who it was. (No idea if that's a thing you can do in acnh, but it worked in acnl.)

So is there no way to affect who moves in to these new houses once you complete their construction? I haven't been to the islands yet btw. I was going to start after I got the initial 5 villagers. So I'm not sure if that's an option.

Ok so I had a theory that I just tested out. I fulfilled the needs for the other 2 houses and saved before going to talk to nook. After talking to him I checked my villager plots and they were filled by aurora and someone else. So I reset, loaded back in. Talked to nook again, checked my plots and they were filled by pudge and midge this time. So it looks like you can reset for who you want as long as it doesn't auto save after you talk to nook.

• You obtain the Golden Watering Can DIY once you achieve your first 5-star rating. Also, lilies-of-the-valley can spawn as long as your island keeps its 5-star rating!

•• How do I get a 3- or 5-star rating? ••
• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

hello! i recently started my island and im at the point where i have emply plots of land to get new villagers. if i go to an island where a villager is in boxes, does that invite them to my island? i dont want to waste anyones time in case it doesnt work.

If you placed a plot and it's not claimed Tom nook might autofill it

When you take them into phototopia, they will have the default if the villager isn’t on your island. If they are, they will have the final phone case on in game.

I don’t think they really use their phone on your island, only when you specifically have them do the take a picture reaction will you see their phone

but from what I know as long as they are on your island they will have the final phone cases.

You can try and grind for wood on mystery islands by chopping all the trees and palm trees on each island, or you can trade for some in #materials-and-tools if you have NSO

As long as you’re putting trash or rotten turnips out, you should eventually get some. They’re pretty hard to come across. I believe something you can try is placing those items outside of a building and keep going inside and outside and checking until you see them to speed up the process a bit

This is for flies.
I would also recommend testing it out with different types of trash! I was able to spawn one when i did different duo variations. I just dropped them in separate parts of my path and see which the fly liked the most. But it's for sure is trial and error with the fly. Just dont put them on grass or the beach as it will spawn ants

Fleas are rare, with a spawn rate of max 1% per hour, on an outside villager. They won't spawn if there's an event either. You just hope when you see or talk to your villagers they complain about being itchy or you see a tiny dot jumping on them

1. Play the stalk market: buy turnips at a low price and sell them high.
2. Dive and catch sea creatures to sell back to Nook's Cranny.
