I read the faq, but I just want to confirm as it's the number one thing that would keep me from getting the game. Can a villager move out without your permission? Say I stop playing for about 3 months and come back to the game? Is there a possibility someone will be gone from my island?

I am 100% surr this this BUT!

-U can have up to 10 villagers max.

-No a villager cannot moveout without your permission, u have to say yes or no!

-If u stop playing for a few months, no a villager wont move out. A villager will only be gone if u said yes for a villager to move out then u stop playing for a few months.

When u get campsite you will get your first campsite villager! U could like them, u could not. But you CANNOT say no to them to coming to your island…sadly .

When Tom Nook gives u 3 housing kits u can either…

1. Start getting the items. (With the outside items u need to put them outside!)
2. Go villager hunting. (Villager hunting is where u look for villagers u like with nmt! Nmt = nook mile tickets)

With villager hunting, if u do do that first then do the items, dw! U will still get the villager u asked to move in! (It will only say sold when u put in the items)
If u take to long for villager hunting the plots will auto fill with a villager!

There are about 4 villagers for me that are absolute favs so I imagine I'll be doing a bit of villager hunting. One more question. Can you tell new move ins where to put their house? Or do they just pick a spot they want?

I recommend putting them in lines (?) like all together or on the beach so then when u get 4 stars (that unlocks terraforming!) it will be easier to terraform!!!

If you’re in the US Target is a good place to buy them, otherwise you can buy packs from Amazon, etc! It can be hard to tell what is real so it’s best to buy the packs

Oh I see! Just to make sure I’m understanding you right, you mean someone is posting a picture of an actual amiibo card and you’re wondering if you can use it like that? If so, you wouldn’t be able to use it like that unfortunately. You would need to physically have the card to use it yourself. If someone is advertising an amiibo card of a villager you want, then they can move in that villager on their island and kick them for you. You can take that villager when they’re in boxes and you have an empty plot I hope that answers your question!

When a villager moves out, then you can come across them again if you’re NMT hunting, but they won’t remember you. They can also pop up in your campsite randomly, but won’t remember you then either. If you have the DLC they can appear there too but won’t know who you are. Those are the ways you can come across them again unless you have their amiibo card ^^

You don't have to give your villager anything, most peeps give their villager clothes they'd like to see them in. But if you want to raise their Friendship fast a gift that sells for at least 750 bells (such as 2 non-native fruits) & wrapped up is one of the fastest ways.

sadly there is not, one day will have one villager asking to leave, if you don't have a bubble for that day, maybe the next one, but you can't have them more frequently and once the day is loaded only that villager will ask to leave

So tomorrow they’ll be in boxes, you can have another player come adopt them if you have NSO! The day after that is when they’ll be gone, and the plot will be empty. That’s the day you hunt for a new villager on NMT islands

Yup, you can safely jump two days ahead from where you’re at to empty the plot!! I would stay on whatever date the second day is though to hunt because if you move forward or backward any number of days, the plot will more than likely autofill. Go NMT island hunting while the plot is empty, and once you find someone you like or you just don’t feel like hunting anymore, that’s when you can jump back to the current date I hope that makes sense!

Also keep in mind you can time travel to stay within the date that the plot is empty if you need more time to hunt

Villagers can be traded, the buyer needs an empty plot available, and the seller must have the villager in boxes, ready to leave

BTW, you don't get empty plots until you've built a campsite i think (the ones you get earlier instantly autofilled for me)

OK, if a villager is moving out to the point where their house has boxes (they're in boxes), you can talk to them and ensure they'll move to your island instead

If you have amiibo i think you can also get characters that way, this method can be used to force kick a villager and replace them with a better one

What I mean by that is talking to the villager you want to get rid of and then do the month and 15 days

at the end 1 month or 5 years won't make a huge difference since the chances of the bubble don't increase indefinitely. Just sync back to real time, talk to all your villagers and try again. Re-start if it takes too long

My mistake, Audie won't ask to leave but there is a way, the exception to moving out the last moved in villager is via campsite, if the camper randomly chooses Audie to move out or with an amiibo camper where you can choose who you want to move out

yea, the most recent villager cannot under any circumstances ask to move out unfort. they need to be kicked out with a campsite villager of either variety (amibo or random)

afaik you are able to time travel in either direction, but i feel like moving backwards allows for a villager to immediately claim the plot

so if you're looking to utilise your empty plot, it's best to just TT ahead a day

You can time travel backwards, yes. When you check the door after the visitor has taken your villager & left the island, it'll say that villager has moved out but you can't get a new villager yet since the house is still there

Blue roses with 1 person watering only has around a 2% chance of spawning, so it's extremely low. If you have up to 5 visitors water your flowers per day the percentage goes up a bit
