I'm planning on inviting an Amiibo villager when one of my villagers move out. I read some guides but am still a bit unsure on a couple things:

1. Do I have to summon the Amiibo villager 3 days in a row to be able to invite them to my island. Or can it be any 3 days whenever.

2. Do they appear in the campsite the same day you summon them or do they appear the next day?

The optimal way is to have them be isolated one by one. As in, no other roses in the surrounding 8 tiles of each black rose

Essentially you can just place them in rows with one tile in between if that makes sense

It's a very luck dependant process, you're probably doing nothing wrong and just having quite bad luck. Sometimes can take unfortunately long to get anyone to leave

That way they would be able to breed with each other, I think breeding might be always prioritized over gold rose production, not 100% sure, but in any case I believe just having all of them isolated will be more efficient even if you have restricted room and therefore would have less black roses than you would in a checkerboard

Just as an additional FYI, In general there are always better layout options than a checkerboard, no matter what your goal is there's a breeding mechanic that makes it very inefficient

The odds do increase the more villagers you have, yes. I can't give you the exact scaling off the top of my head nor could I find it with ease, but the chance starts off relatively low compared to when you have 10 villagers.
But you just need at least 6 villagers for them to be able to ask to move out

Villegers will ask you to leave before doing so. You always have the option of telling them to stay. In your case, my best bet is that your friend may have told her to leave when she asked. That would be the only way Wendy would have left the island.

As far as getting her back, only thing you can really do is villager hunt for her again.

It shouldn’t disappear afaik, since the construction kits on rope off where the building would be. Have you tried moving any of that nearby furniture first though? I’m not sure which item would be causing it (if any), but that might be worth trying before you move a whole building!

Also, did you double-check that this seemingly empty tile is not actually covered with a fully transparent pattern?

And as other people said before, if stuff other than rocks spawn in that tile (weeds, fossils) then you need to purposely plant/bury those in another spot where they won't be in your way, so that they won't be taking that tile you're targeting before rocks even have a chance to spawn

hello! so i kinda made a mistake lol. im planning to build a post office on my island, so i went to a tresure island to grab some mailboxes. i later realized that I don't need them, but I can't get rid of them. i can only place them and keep them in my inventory. i can't sell them or throw them away. i redesigned my house in hopes that they would dissapear but they all just turned into the same mailbox. is there any way for me to get rid of them? i have a bit of a question too — is there any way to get the same sound when walking on custom roads as with the stone/tile pathways? i’d really love to have the sharper sound of the stone paths but it seems like custom designs are defaulted to the dirt path sound effect when you walk on them … is there any way to work around this?

Yeah you should be able to do that if you place the stone UNDER the custom flooring

(I do that myself because it makes it show up on the map if you do that)

I think the custom path overrides the sfx - I have some on dirt paths and they play that muted stepping sound rather than dirt

if you were to delete the account before deleting the save file on ac, press (-) on the main menu of a different account in ac then go to something like “delete save data.” it’ll say something about there being a save file with no active account & ask if you want to delete it.

I played as my island representative (my husband) and did a lot of chatting and got the camper to say they'd move in and they called Res Services and confirmed the spot is open. Today I don't see the plot "sold" like I thought it would be. Will it be "sold" to him tomorrow? If I travel today might I accidently get him cut in line or replaced? Just curious how that works if the camper confirmed a spot but apprently isn't "sold" to him yet.

Iirc there was a glitch that happens in that situation that the camper goes into your MIQ. So if you have other villagers in your MIQ the villager you wanted might not be the one to take the plot.

It is not guaranteed for them to switch out a specific item, or even any item at all. Without the DLC your best bet is probably waiting for your villager to invite you over; they will then offer you to purchase one of their displayed items after some chitchat. You can buy the critter for some bells (the prices are usually a couple grand tops), and it'll be permanently removed from their home

If your friendship is high enough the villager might invite you over, I think if you don't have enough money they won't offer to sell you things. If you do have enough money, they might ask if you want to buy only 1 thing, and some things they won't sell in that session but they might decide to sell next time they invite you over

Yes, when those happen is decided by your weather seed, which essentially predetermines what weather each date is going to have. You can TT day by day to a time a little after 7pm to most effectively seek them out (without knowing your weather seed)

Yes! You can continue for as long as you like, really. You're able to design homes for every villager (and every NPC if you have their amiibo) - and then you can also redesign homes, etc.

I hope this is the right channel, but I'm really new to ACNH. I honestly don't really know the possibilities, or even what the game is mainly about. I just kind of know that you have an island you run. I see all these different channels with player interaction and I'm just confused because I feel like the game doesn't explain the open-worldness part(or if it does, I just haven't gotten that far). Can someone explain to me what you do besides just own an island with villagers?

think of ACNH as a sandbox, and as such, to fully answer your question would take a while, but a good start is to do the nook miles achievments. those should give you at least a start, also collect items to decorate your house/island. sometimes nook/isabelle will also give you some short term goals you can work on.

the possiblilities are nearly limitless, and the best way to learn is a little at a time.

hit your rocks, every day (each one can be hit 8 times if you are fast enough) and after that you can use nook miles tickets and hit the rocks there. i believe they have a higher chance per hit to give iron as well.

if you are struggling to conssisently hit the rocks eight times you can dig holes behind you so you never move out of range. (just make sure that none of the holes are in one of the 8 spots directly next to the rock.

go to your images on your switch, press A, there should be a share/export option, click it. there will be an option to do just that one photo or a batch (10 photos!) You can choose to export using a twitter or facebook account or use a QR code.

imo the QR code is easier, you scan the QR code with your phones camera (works on IPhone not sure on other types) connect to the link, scan the second QR code once it shows, then save the photos from there!

they made it a lot simpler w the QR code honestly, sm better than twitter method (imo!)

You can try to do that to see what turnip price pattern you have for the week. If you’re lucky you might have a big spike! There’s no way to tell what pattern you have in-game, but there’s websites that can help figure that out for you. If you look at the pins in #daisy-nookling-ads there’s some resources there you can check out! You can also try this method in the image below if you wanna try and get good prices on your island ⬇️

Just keep in mind if you try out the steps in the image and you have turnips then they will rot, so it’s best to do something like that before you get them - you would just have to buy them from someone else ^^

You need 270 nature points for 3 stars. Each fully grown tree and flower gives one point each. So what you just planted makes up only for a 100 points
Nature points are gotten from trees, flowers, shrubs, crops and DIY furniture, so add more of those to reach the nature point threshold

Oh you get it from swimming in the sea and collecting scallops. The NPC pops up. If you give it to him you get a pearl or sometimes a recipe.

Pascal can give pearls, but you can also sometimes find them in the sea by diving. They are on the rarer side iirc, so you may not find many in a short period, unfortunately

Everyday I either get a pearl or recipe on my island from getting a scallop and giving it to the NPC that pops up in the water.

If it helps, I'm fairly sure they're usually the tiniest shadows and don't move when you approach them, to make looking for them a little easier; although not all of these may be a pearl for sure! They definitely aren't common like Meg said, so best of luck
