Hi everyone. I’ve noticed that I’m currently stuck on a four star island despite having tons of flowers and trees. The only complaint my villagers have is that there are too many items in my island, but I’m not exactly sure what that means because I don’t have trash literally anywhere or random items just dropped… what exactly does it mean when it says I have too many items in my island? It's possible to find him as your lazy, it's just hard because you're pulling from all the possible lazy villagers!

It is a set of 6 amiibo cards that you can purchase (in the US it's sold at target) - you can still get it, usually there is a ton stocked as they are not as popular as the random packs

Yep, only the amiibo cards - the clothing and furniture can be traded though, just not the villagers

All of them, each pack has one of each villager and each villager unlocks its corresponding items (the cinnomoroll inspired villager unlocks all his items). Once you scan the amiibo cards at Harv's or at your ABD the items will unlock to order through Nook Shopping

Nope, they work like normal amiibo villagers. Scan them and complete their three requests, then you can choose whoever you want to kick out of your island

Yes, scan it in once for three days. Each day they will ask for you to complete a DIY recipe for them - the third day they ask to move into your island and you get the option of who you want to kick out manually. This is true for every amiibo for villagers (not special NPCs)

If you only want the items, you can just scan it in once at the ABD, or the easier way is to go to Harv's island in his phototopia thing, and scan them all in there - even scanning them on Harv's will unlock the items to order

If you have the dlc and unlocked DJ KK in it you can remodel her house. Otherwise I think you gotta gift her 32 other things for it to keep e her inventory

I'm pretty sure fruits won't do anything since they don't stay in the villager's inventory. Wall- or ceiling-mounted furniture is your best bet since villagers can't display those but they'll still fill up the inventory (iron wall lamp is a pretty cheap option for example).
I'm not sure if this makes them remove non-gifted furniture too though.

Also, depending on what the furniture you want out is, I'm not sure if this would even work at all since after reading a little more it seems like this will only make them remove items from the in-game categories "miscallaneous" and "wall-mounted"
.

Another thing to mention is that once you have enough friendship with the villager, they have a chance of inviting you over, and often will offer you a chance to buy one of their displayed items (which is probably the better method in the long run since it doesn't involve clogging up their inventory)

If your old switch doesn't have the data on it you're out of luck unfortunately

Nintendo will only recover in the case of it breaking and even then it can be tricky. The data needs to be on the old switch, and you need to use the island transfer tool which is a separate app. If it's gone, it is gone

Pretty likely. I've never really encountered a scenario where the same one has a thought bubble the next day, but since it's all chance, I suppose it could happen lol. But typically, it should be someone new. As long as you just ignore them.

You can try contacting Nintendo to see if they can help you, but they only really restore islands if the console was lost or stolen. Doesn’t hurt to try though. If they can’t do anything then unfortunately there’s nothing you can do

I sold my old switch to upgrade to OLED. I uploaded all the save data to the cloud but I forgot ACNH had a different save system and proceeded to factory reset. I had the backup activated and I contacted Nintendo for help, since I heard they can restore the saves under certain conditions (console lost, corrupted data etc). My question is, is that true? Is there any chance they restore my backup to my new console? Did it happen before here?

They will restore it if the switch was broken or stolen. In most cases though it is not restored. Likely, you will not be able to recover your save

Nintendo vision. Truthfully I don't know. I believe that starting the process regardless is tricky and they can be really stingy. So it is true, and you can try if you'd like, but just giving the warning that there is a big chance you cannot recover the data as the old switch was sold and cleared.

Not particularly. Personally my method is:
-Put trash can down
-Put DIY bench down
-Hold a stack of customization kits

Shovel a full inventory, trash, customize shovel to reset durability, repeat.

Got a head scratcher. Yesterday I sold a plot to a camper, choose the new spot for moving a house and I got told nook's cranny was going to be upgraded the day after. Today the house has been moved successfully, nook's cranny is being built, but the camper has not moved in as the house has not been built yet. Well if you don’t want to cap yourself at 4 stars then you can’t have more than 220 trees/shrubs, or you’ll never get past 4 stars. To have 5 stars you need 450+ nature points, and fully grown trees are 1 point each. There’s many different things that can contribute to your nature points, not just trees. Hello! Flea spawns are pretty hard to come across, their spawn rate is fairly low compared to other bugs. You just have to talk to all of your villagers frequently when they’re in season. They’ll comment on how they’re feeling itchy and stuff, and plus you’ll see them jumping on your villager. Flies are also attracted to rotten turnips, so you could possibly try leaving some out to get a fly to spawn! Fleas and flies also can’t spawn in multiplayer unfortunately, so you would have to catch those on your own. I hope that helps!

Also, wanted to add that flies are quite rare, so it might take a while to get one naturally, there's not really anything you can do wrong when trying to lure one.
But, in any case, if you wanted you could try to force a fly spawn by dropping some trash items near your home, and keep entering and exiting the house until a fly spawns it's the best way to catch one

• Heavy meteor showers: These are usually announced by Isabelle and discussed by villagers, with stars shooting in groups of 5 to 8 roughly every minute or so during the whole night. These are pretty rare, averaging around 10 per year.
• Light meteor showers: Only a handful of 5-star groups shoot each hour, if said hour has a clear sky. These average between 5-10 per month.
• Note that weather patterns use a seed and are set in stone for your island, including when the shooting stars will appear, to the second. You can use Ninji's MeteoNook app (https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/) to help determine your seed and get your weather and shooting stars forecast for your island.

You just have to browse around online, and keep in mind the official amiibo packs are sets of a series 1-5. They look like the picture below ^^ and the move-in process for a campsite villager is RNG so it can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. Yes you can also choose who you kick!

Hello! If you’ve ever visited other peoples islands then you more than likely have villagers in your move-in queue, so if that’s the case then it’ll get filled the next day. Otherwise it’s a 20% chance (iirc) of your plot getting filled per day. If you do get a villager that takes the empty plot before you’re able to move-in the amiibo villager then you can simply kick them with the amiibo villager!

So you would need to purchase a 10th plot for the amiibo villager if someone takes the 9th plot, but if you have more amiibos you can use then you can simply replace the 9th villager with another amiibo villager then

It takes one day to pack and one day to move. Tomorrow they'll be in boxes, the day after you'll have an empty plot (and can villager hunt)

You've probably already invited the three villagers you can at that point. Those three villagers/plots work a little differently, you can actually invite all three before even building the plots, unlike later on

If Celeste is there that does mean you're having a meteor shower day! It's just that there's "light" meteor showers where the falling stars aren't as common and "heavy" meteor showers, which is when your villagers will mention it/Isabelle announces it

Orchid mantis is only found on white flowers, peacock butterflies are only found flying near blue/purple/black flowers. You'd be able to catch them on mystery islands too by those flowers if they were in the right season. Some just require there to be flowers

I need some help with hybrids, I feel like I must be doing something wrong. I am missing a few still and have been trying for over a month to grow them. The most annoying are the green Mums, I have hybrid purple! Also, I have red hybrids to try and grow purple Windflowers, but haven't been successful with those either. For the Mums I breed red and yellow seeds for yellow hybrids, then breed those together for the purple. These should produce green Mums, but no luck yet. For the windflowers I breed white seeds for blue hybrids, then breed those with red seeds for red hybrids and those should give me purple. Anyone have any tips? How long does this usually take? I am the only one watering my flowers BTW. Maybe I should get other people to start watering them too.

You aren't doing anything wrong, it's just that the RNG can be pretty harsh especially when you're the only person watering. For context, it took me around 6 months to breed a blue rose, though that's significantly more complicated than the ones you're making. Green mum took me a good while as well. The odds are just unfortunately low, for example with green mums there is only a 1.25% chance of one appearing every day per flower pair when watering alone

Friendship level won't be affected if you do it all at once; your villagers will mention not seeing you a single time then go back to normal. Your bigger worry is really the weed and flower growth

They can pick the latest move-in, but you won't get an empty plot out of that

Unless you have an amiibo, you just gotta get lucky with a camper you fancy
