Yes I think so since your not too far along. Also, if you don’t like your island or character name now you may kick yourself later for not restarting once you get farther along. It’s better to have an island name and character name you love then one you tolerate.

houses dont get wiped, no. are you sure that you dont have two (or more) villagers on the same island? the map only displays one of the villager’s icons but if you hover over it you can view all the villagers that live there

If Bertha is moving in Azalea's house than Bertha's old house disappears I think. If at some point you decide that Bertha should move out I think the old house is kept but can't tell for sure

For 1) I believe the house of Azalea will remain the same but as you invite another villager you get to redecorate it (to make adjustments for the roommate)
But for 3) I think the house that originally had roommates just remains as is while you deign the new house of the leaving villager, you'd need to come back and redecorate again if you want to adjust it for the villager now living there on their own

But yeah regarding that other issue, if you invited Patty as a roommate of someone and don't want to see her anymore, you do need to design her a house x)

You can reuse the same house construction sites over and over, they'll act as different copies of the same location

You can change roommates but you'd have to first move the roommate of the first villager out (and design them a new house), then invite a new roommate for the first villager, then you can invite the roommate villager to be someone else's roommate if you don't want to keep their house
But there is just no getting rid of villagers on HHP lol, I feel like you're trying to find a loophole, but there isn't afaik

Shrubs have in and out seasons. Holly shrubs will only bloom or have berries during the winter for example. There's no way to bypass this - they bloom at different seasons

I’ve been trying for hours to get my town rating up to 3 stars so I can unlock terraforming. I’ve got over 100 flowers, trees a-plenty, both store-bought and DIY furniture in spaces, fences strewn about, and all of the above is well spaced out throughout the island. Yet I still am not getting 3 stars. Isabelle keeps saying to add more furniture when there’s already well over 80 pieces. I have two bridges and 7 villagers, working on three and 8, but I’ve read many sources claim to have gotten it in significantly less than what I have now. What am I doing wrong???

She's very fussy. Perhaps your furniture pieces are smaller and not taking up as much land space, which can accrue more points. Just keep putting more items out because you can always remove them after you hit the three stars

Well, regardless, you will be stuck in this loop for a long time or run low on space between flowers and furniture. Facilities and infrastructure play a pretty massive role in terms of an island rating - there's not really any further advice we can give that hasn't been said. Since you are not open to time travel, you will be just repeating this process for a very long time - provided those player sources are true (there is a lot of misinformation around about ACNH and its hidden scores)

I still think you'd also really benefit from upgrading Nooks/building Ables. Most sites say each building/incline/bridge is 15 development points. To get the equivalent of that in furniture or flowers, you need a whole heck of a lot but those can count as scenery than development points anyway and you need a balance of both

I didn't time travel until a loooooooooong way into the game and still rarely do because I just take my time and plod along

Best suggestion is to swim slowly up to what you think is the clam and then dive. I’ve also caught them by essentially ‘chasing’ them towards the edge of the swimming area and when they dart back I’ve been successful.

Inorder to unlock the quest to build nooks cranny, you need to first pay off your 5000 nook miles that tom nook gives you in the beginning of the game, after your house is built, go into the tent and speak to timmy and he'll give you a quest to build nooks cranny. once you've built nooks cranny and its finished building, go into the store and in the back left there should be a cabinet. click that and find the medicine and buy it, once bought just simply use it

Not sure about what you mean by platforms. For pillars there are two kinds - the furniture items which can be traded and the HHP DIY items that cannot be traded. For the HHP ones, you need to unlock them through gameplay of HHP and then craft them. After this you can use them or customize them

if your looking for a really easy way (its kinda cheaty but not actual hacks or anything) you can make a pro custom design of a dress or shirt or something, and display about 90 to 100 of them all around your island, then plant about 70 flowers on top of that and as long as you have weeds cleared up and not very much trash on the ground itll work

Make your own mannequin in pro designer app like draw a shirt or something. Then after you placed them all and you got what you needed them for. Go back to that design and edit it like add a pixel or erase then voila all your mannequins will be gone

To unlock the Happy Home Paradise DLC after purchase, you must

• Upgrade your tent to a house.
• Complete the DIY workshop with Tom Nook.
