2. You have to have but 3 stars on your island and have k.k. perform for it to unlock and purchase the card to learn them for the nook mile redemption section

You buy the amiibos and then you go to the nook stop and go to the amiibo option and it'll prompt you to hold the amiibo up to the controller

That will bring them to your campsite . You need to have them visit 3 times and craft them what they ask for each time then they'll move to your island

How to upgrade Resident Services into a building
• You need at least 5 villagers to be fully moved onto your island.
• Unlock the museum (can either be the tent or the upgraded building).

To unlock the museum, give 5 different critters (bugs, fish, or sea creature) to Tom Nook.
• If both of these are met, Tom Nook will announce that Resident Services will be closed the following day for construction. The day after that you’ll have the building! (You can time travel to make this process quicker.)

Amiibos can replace anyone, but they need to be invited three times to your campsite - which probably means your villager in boxes will have left, and then you'll have an empty plot, and then someone else might have moved in in the meantime (which your amiibo can then kick anyway)

Depending on the item and its location, if they invite you to their place then they can do a "Hey do you see something here you like and want to buy from me?" prompt and then you can buy it and remove it

The suggestion we usually offer is go back to normal time, talk to everyone again, and start over with slowly creeping forward a day. I know Johnny (one of the mods) has said it took two IRL days to get the person he wanted to go so patience is your friend

if you place these plots you need to adopt in the day, or they might autofill the following day.
if you adopt on mystery island you can only adopt once per day

so my advice is don't place all of them at once or until you are sure of what you want , especially for that last one

I have a question. Recently I traded a lot and yesterday I also got to know what a treasure island is from a friend. How can I know if an item is or is not from a treasure island? Like would bells or NMTs or items or anything I unknowingly received from a treasure island by the 2nd party through the trading cause problems to my switch? or does the game doesn't care or treats the items/bells/nmts all the same? I am kind of paranoid now if I unknowingly traded with someone with treasure island items.

the game does not care, but be aware certain items can cause trouble; never in under any circumstances, pick up an plot or bridge/incline marker. these items need to be given by tom nook to work properly. Be careful selling your turnips, if the price is suspiciously high there it will ruin your nook miles achievement.

Overall it's fairly safe, but don't pick up what you can't trade withoutthe treasure island for it to work properly

I have my question answered, but I am in need of bells for my house payments. I could "ask for a loan" from somebody, they would give me the bells I needed, and I would set up a timeframe of when I can give the bells back. Kinda like real life loans.

1. Play the stalk market: buy turnips at a low price and sell them high.
2. Dive and catch sea creatures to sell back to Nook's Cranny.
3. Grow stuff (fruits, flowers, pumpkins, etc) and sell to Nook's Cranny.
4. If you have NSO (Nintendo Switch Online), trade with other players by visiting the trade channels in this server and seeing where to sell your services or goods!

Do I need trees for a good island score? The trees make it hard to find weeds that I know are bad for Island score

There are many factors that contribute to island scores. Trees will give points, yes. (Although once you get to 220, they'll start leading to negative scores). Shrubs also count among the 'trees'. You need a lot of weeds to start having it become negative points so focus more on what Isabelle says to add and just keep throwing heaps of stuff down until you get to the 3/5 star that you're aiming for

So after watching several tutorial videos I finally time travelled for the first time and was able to kick out the campsite villager i was forced to take. I am doing mystery island tours now and found a villager I like. I time travelled a month forward but I don't want to stay in this month and return back to my real time. Now these are my questions please help
can I time travel a day forward after inviting the villager on mystery island for them to settle and revert back to my real time? I read some posts on reddit and it seems like it gets autofilled if I time travel a day forward. Just want to make sure if it is correct and I should just wait to pass the day and make them move in tomorrow(like real tomorrow and not time travelling) and then revert back to my real time.

Once you invite them to the island, it’s safe to time travel. You can double check by viewing the empty plot on your island to make sure it shows a sold sign. As long as you see that, they’ll move in, regardless of if you tt or not ^^
