• Put out lots of different furniture.
• Put out a lot of flowers. Put out way more than you think you need.
• Try to build bridges and inclines where you can, it'll help a lot with development points.
• Listen to Isabelle! If she talks about development or scenery, you need more development points (furniture, diy items, infrastructure, etc.). If she talks about the island's natural environment, you need more nature points (flowers, trees, shrubs, etc.).

Just to clarify that your island when starting out will have more than 150. But once you’ve cleared it all, only 150 will ever regrow again.

it just depends on preference! some people like a specific aesthetic when they’re building their islands and they prefer ungifted villagers, so they tend to be more popular. i personally don’t mind them being lightly gifted but would probably not take a heavily gifted one.

it takes time sometimes for someone who has the materials and is willing to give/sell them to you to respond. i’ve had to wait a few hours sometimes to get an offer. alternatively you could always post in #690093605821480980 and ask if someone who has their island in september-november is willing to open so you can gather pinecones and acorns.

sometimes people will also post in #mysterybags-and-yardsales with open gates, i find materials there sometimes as well.

You can, but it would take more flowers -- the sprouts will only give you partial points, whereas you'll get a full point for each fully bloomed flower

So you would either need to plant more sprouts, or just wait til they are bloomed, if that makes sense

It depends. If you submitted everything but haven't spoken to Tom Nook yet, AND you haven't closed the game or let it go to the next day (5am), then you can still find villagers on mystery islands

I have ten villagers, two groups of fences that surround both Player Homes, 70 Flowers, multiple Trees, a lot of decorations, an ancient cemetary I made by customizing the Stone Tablets and Creepy Skeletons, two Bridges, and finally, two Inclines.

With the amount of "Carp" I have on my Island, I should already have a 3-star rating. 😅

• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

I'm not 100% sure but what I can say is that you can always edit the facility/vacation homes afterwards. And that HHP uses your catalogue as well as introduces other items that you can use so you should be able to use some form of counters even if they aren't the perfect ones initially

A little of both. There will be items you can purchase daily which show up on the first screen when you open it up. There will be 'promotional' items (such as Mario tie-ins which are always there) and seasonal items (which have a time limit) that you can buy. And then there's a magnifying glass symbol that you can use to search up what you've ever picked up/collected for your 'catalogue'. Not all items can be catalogued and repurchased, e.g. Saharah wallpaper/flooring, but you will be able to see everything there

The items that show up in the daily Nook Shopping are random, much like the items that show up in Nook's Cranny

The other thing I was thinking too- based on how the story progresses it’s going to be very difficult to get the exact villagers back as they’re fostered by others. (Unless you’re able to do the 8 hour KK grind I’ve done before, with time travel of course). Personally I feel like it would be a lot easier for you to look in #villager-trade and/or #701251557458444395 whenever she’s ready to get a villager. Since it sounds like they’re going from your island to hers first, friendship and houses will reset anyway (which iirc are the two main reasons people ask to foster their exact copies)

Hmm. From what I understand, as long as it is the same human player interacting with them, the villager would remember them! That’s pretty much the reason why people like to have someone hold a villager, so they can reclaim them on a new island and the villager remembers them ^^

I haven’t done it through island transfer before, but I have two islands that often get each other’s autofills, and I can confirm they do remember me when this happens

Trees will occasionally drop materials, fruit or items, so it’s to prevent that.
Some also say leave via the airport to avoid confusion on who’s leaving or to avoid disconnecting

Fruit takes 3 days to regrow once they’re shaken off. And leaving quietly affects everyone who’s visiting at the time by resetting everyone back to the last auto save.

Day after tomorrow, when the plot is totally empty. The day the plot is empty you have till 5 am the next day. Tomorrow they'll be in boxes moving out, then the day after that you'll have a clear plot and new villagers will show up on NMT islands

Sorry I'm just still a bit confused here. Customize things like furniture? That would be a feature Cyrus offers, who is a shop on Harv's Island you get through the commune. If you mean decorating rooms for photos that is done in the same way you decorate your house normally on your island

You should be able to terraform on the third level, but only waterfalls. IIRC you can't really use a 4th level, but 3rd shouldn't be locked. Also, for looking for custom designs, #custom-design-help🎨 is the best channel - this channel is best really only for mechanical and factual questions about the game and as such that question is not suited for here!

No it's no worries - so fourth level cannot be accessed yeah, islands with that are either very early (I believe it was patched in later?) or hacked. Unfortunately there's not really a way to bypass that little warning, so you're stuck to decorating 3 tiers

But also in that image, it does look like the 4th layer is untouched and a tree is in the back of it giving the illusion of a bush on top

Looks like it is a trick of the angling and camera , If you compare that little view with the tree model those three sections line up pretty well. There can be some trickery here, but it looks like this is most likely the case, assuming the image is not of a hacked or modded island!
