No. I read that I need to invite three to get that quest but I am unable to invite. Every island I go to with NMT has noone to invite. They appeared at the beginning but I did not invite them. Now they do not appear.

You don't need to invite anyone to do the three plots quest, it's just that if you don't, the game will chose random villager to fill those three plots

If no-one appears on mystery island, that means that they either have been invited, or you have completed the quest and the villagers have been auto-chosen by the game

Is there a time lag between an invite and getting the quest from Tom Nook then? Or some sort of progress point to reach?

So far only residents on the island are me, 2 NPC residents who came with me to the island, and two other family members playing on the same console.

My Nook's Cranny is upgraded to a normal building. Abel Sisters set up their shop. The residents' services is still in a tent though.

• Visit Nook Miles Ticket islands (mystery tours). These islands always have rocks you can hit for materials.
  -Trade with other players if you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Make sure you have the trade role from #trade-rules-verification, then visit #materials-and-tools.

You need to upgrade museum into a building.

You need to talk to tom nook with critters like fish or bugs in your pocket, and give them to Tom. Eventually he will call blathers to set up a tent on your island, and from there donate to blathers until the museum can be built.

You would need to purchase that before you can customize the fences, so that’s why it won’t let you. As to unlocking it on your Nook Stop: I believe the requirements are that you must have completed the DIY workshop and you must have crafted at least two kinds of fences

There's a roundabout way to more or less have a diving suit in the wand, where you actually just wear a wand outfit all the time, and your standard untransformed attire includes the diving suit.

The flea is random really... Just be attentive to your villager when it's the season
For the fly, put a trash item (empty can, tire or boot) near a building (your home for exemple) and just enter and leave the building. It'll reset the critter spawns.
Bear in mind it can still take a while

That Nook Miles achievement counts everything you’ve spent and earned on turnips, and only tracks the profit. So in the case of selling at a loss or forgetting to sell, the counter essentially goes down because you lost money on those. Once you break even again, and reach the rewards amount, you would get the badge.

Same is true if you used hacked turnips to max out your bells, but it’s a huge loss so it takes somewhere around 64million bells to recover from iirc

Your villagers can be adopted by other players - if this is the case they will remember you when you visit them. If you "void" them or just let them move out to nowhere, they will not remember you or anything you gave to them

To change all of those you have to completely wipe all of your data and progress. However you can store bells and items on your friends island and pick them up afterwards

Only if you wanted less than 10 total villagers, you can't remove a plot once it's placed, you can move it, but you can't cancel that there will be a new villager

Stuff that falls off trees bounce to nearby free tiles, but if the free tiles are too far it'll disappear
Try to free the tiles in front, to the left and to the right of the trunk to be sure it will have space to stay

I encountered shooting stars and I wish on 50+ of them (I even checked the nook miles mission where you need to wish on stars so I keep track how many I wished on) and I time skipped to 5 am and I got like 11, :(((

They do not all show up at once. You’ll just need pick up all the fragments and shells on your beaches and keep checking throughout the day. They will continue to respawn until you’ve gotten them all ^^

You can get dark, light, and regular wood by hitting trees with an axe. Donate 5 creatures to Tom nook and blathers should show up then u can get a vaulting pole as well as a shovel

There are several different crab sea creatures, so it just depends on which ones you’re looking for. In general, they all have fairly low spawn rates so it’s just a matter of being in the right month/time of day, and then just keep trying!

Nothing you do during the DLC directly affects your island in any way. you get new items/DIYS, but eveything that happens at the HHP sight stays there :). You do have to design a good solid amount of houses to unlock the villager home redesign, too

Yes, that is very common, check your NAT type via internet settings -> test connection when connected to your hotspot, if it's anything less than B the chances are you can't directly play with anyone online (=connect to other switches), very often hotspot is not enough

Maybe try Nook Exchange, it has LF / FT / Catalog default lists and you can just copy and paste links for others to open and see

Tall stuff (some furniture, trees, cliffs or buildings) can block up to 4 tiles north of them, if you have some south of your spot, that could be the reason

if you have 10 villagers the camper will kick someone, if you have less, you'll need to place a plot (you should be able to buy one) for them to move in
