No villager is 'rarer' than any other, really. It's all about personal preference. There are less octopuses than cats, for example, and some villagers are more popular than others which makes them priced higher, but it's more about what's a good price to you to pay or what someone else is willing to pay you for yours

That is the day that you can go 'villager hunting' by using Nook Miles tickets to travel (like you did at the start of the game for new villagers). If you have more than six villagers already and Nintendo Online, then you can also invite villagers who are in boxes on someone else's island (advertised in the villager trader channels) to fill yours if you have an empty plot

Using a calculator should help you work out how many to buy. It's probably best to work out how many inventory loads it will take you to reach 10 mil - cost of turnips multiplied by how many inventory spaces you have = the total amount of Bells you'll need in your inventory per load. And then you can work out how many inventory loads will fit into ten million. Keep in mind the amount of space you'll need to dump ten million worth of turnips on your island and the multiple loads it will take to sell them off too

I saved the game on current time, went forwards 1 month looked if target villager had thought bubble if not go 1 day forward till they do let them move out, save and go back to current time

I did it and I'd say yes if u wanna make a villager move out, pick crops/fruits or have every crop/fruit tree synchronise as in theyre all ready to harvest at the same time also all construction jobs get done so when u travel back to current time u can move stuff again on the same irl day

No, unless it's amiibo, you do not get to choose. Once that option is saved, it's set and will not change. you can reset the game for a chance at a different random villager

but need to reset before the auto save saves their selection of villager to boot out
