I'm sorry for the pic of my screen, for some reason my switch doesn't send photos to my phone like it's supposed to. ANYWAY, ignore everything except rez services and the museum, because nothing else has moved since I haphazardly placed it the first time. Okay...I did my absolute best to place the museum in line with rez services. They're supposed to be lined up. I dug holes and everything. Is it worth it to try and move it or is this just one of those things?

As you can see, my museum is off-center. The middle of the museum is supposed to be directly on the grid line.

Why is there a empty tent on my island

My game is refusing to display Fall and Spring. It's October 1st so I should have fall trees and ground color (northern hemisphere) and Isabel even gave her October 1st speech about Halloween, however it's still green as summer. I time traveled to November and it was still summer. Time traveled to January and it was winter. Time traveled to April and it was summer, no cherry blossoms.
I have tried restarting the software, restarting my switch, and even reinstalling the game.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Day 1 - asks to move
Day 2 - in boxes
Day 3 - empty plot (able to invite/hunt with Nook Miles trips)
Day 4 - autofilled

To clarify that ^^ Day 4 its a CHANCE to be autofilled. I don't think it's a 100% guarantee, but it is a high possibility

Yeah if you don't have anyone in your move in queue, it won't, but that's a very small possibility which I think hinges on you never having travelled to anyone's islands/spoken to their villagers that have ended up voided

Happens gradually over the fall season; should just slowly turn for you over time. Don't know the exact date it would be fully turned but it takes a minute

Yes, but you either need a second cartridge (or game download) or you need to use someone as a go-between so you drop stuff on theirs from your old Switch island, then swap Switches to collect on the new Switch island

(I've been helping someone the last few days do item transfers from one Switch to another because she's only go the one cartridge)

Not really. There's stone fencing (which is very plain and not a ruin thing), and there's a mossy garden rock (a DIY) that you could make a bajillion of and set out like a fence though?

You go back a day by returning your time settings to normal (sync with internet is your best bet). You won't lose anything but going backwards will cause any turnips you have to spoil

Yeah you will need to close the software to change the time/date. It doesn't matter what you do with the turnips, they will spoil

Dropped in your home/on your island or in your inventory, it makes no difference. Any travel backwards will cause a problem

Has anyone here used amiibos? I got the Sanrio amiibos and I used Chai but she won’t move in. I’ve done all three days/crafting requests and I have all 10 houses already built with villagers inside. Every video I see the amiibo villagers are supposed to give you the option to replace a villager of your choosing, but mine just say that resident services says it’s full so they can’t live on the island. I’m not really sure what to do since all of the ‘fixes’ I’ve seen are to make sure you’ve done all three days and have all 10 houses built, but I’ve already done that. Anyone else have this problem or know what to do?

You’re right, I’m an idiot. So actually the problem was that I had the most houses I could have at the time so I assumed that was all 10, but apparently you unlock one after doing the KK Slider concert or something because I didn’t have the option to build a new house until the concert ended. I had to TT to get that done lol (I recently had my island reset so I forgot about this stuff)

Not directly, but during October, villagers will sometimes be crafting Halloween-themed items in their house and they'll give you the DIY
Most of those items use orange pumpkins as ingredients, and once crafted, you'll be able to use other colored pumpkins to customize the color of the item

It can be if you decide to time travel by changing the switch day and time in is settings to the next day. It will forward your progress. And then when you go back to the present you haven't lost anything. Just don't do it with turnips in you inventory or on your island as they spoil.

So I think I've got myself into a pickle here, I had purchased animal crossing digitally on my switch not knowing my sister wouldn't be able to have her own island about twi years ago, we were definitely annoyed when we found that about but what are you gonna do you know? Well this year we got the opportunity to get a second switch so of course we took it but. Problem. My sister's the main account on the primary switch and my game with my island that I've put hours of work into is on the secondary account still on the primary switch. Now my sister cannot play animal crossing with her account on the secondary switch to make things worse we have tons digitally downloaded games on the primary where we both have saves so making it secondary would ruin that... Right?
Did I genuinely just waste several hundred dollars on this?

There is a ladder set up recipe you get from nooks! (I'm not 100% on when you unlock it in game) but that will give you the ladders that you put on the cliffs

You can also use the vines like L said! You can get them from kappn islands, from your hhp island if you have the dlc or by trading with others

It's not a glitch. It's where you turn off the 'sync with internet' option and change the date/time to whatever you like. It's not against the rules but it allows you to do whatever you like - grow things faster, move villagers in and out, gather more weeds, go to special event days or times of years, etc.

Nope, you don't get marked or locked at all. If you travel too far forward, then your island will have lots of weeds. If you travel back with any turnips on your island/in your inventory, they'll spoil.

It is possible your friend hasn't had any villagers disappear into the void/you haven't interacted with any that your friend has let go, and so your move in queue is empty. Usually it autofills the day after the plot is empty so that would be my best guess

you can only use it at the start of the game, you need 300+ weeds if I'm not mistaken, and they need to be there naturally, which can only happen at the beginning.
after that you are capped at 150 weeds naturally

Yes, it is a feature of the DLC, once you finish acertain number of homes decorated you can decorate your villager's houses on your island the way you would decorate in HHP/DLC. You aren't even required to own the items you use, just cataloged or used them in the HHP island houses

So you have 3 total? and yes as long as the plots are all completed they will come in 1 at a time as auto fills. I believe you can 'reserve' them by finding them on nook mile ticket islands but i think that's only 1 a day

Basically in game I lost my deta awhile back after factory resetting my switch (to get a older version of super mario odyssey) after I did this I got most of my stuff back from cloud backup after realizing acnh doesn't have cloud back via Nintendo switch and I didn't do it in game so I accepted the fact I lost the deta til recently I installed Nintendo online mobile app and found my old island via nook link meaning my deta isn't lost but I have no idea how to transfer it, is there a way to?

You factory reset your switch? Meaning it deleted all data including your old island, so you cannot retrieve it anymore. The old island being in your nooklink app is just a memory of your old island’s villagers and character

Ah I see. Once all the villagers have moved in for those furnished plots, then your Resident Services will upgrade. Once you have that upgraded RS building, that’s when you can talk to him about the campsite

Have you done the customization workshop? If not, there should be an option to complete that in the meantime

No, it just rots turnips even if you go 1 minute backwards. Time Travel doesn't have many repercussions, but turnips is one of them

This doesnt really apply to backwards time travel and I may be missing something but -- Flowers and weeds will grow, your bulletin board will be out of sync, tunips can rot (1 week forward or any amt of time backward)... Honestly that's pretty much it. I may be missing something really minor here

Oh yes if you don't go to the ABD each day of time travel those will reset - also if you have an empty plot you risk it filling

ABD shopping + miles reset every day, I believe turnip prices will also shuffle on time travelling. Daily stuff is obv affected, in terms of major island effects what I listed is about it
