Is it worth getting? I didn’t know how to play it when the other one was free so I don’t wanna pay for it if I don’t like it. I only started the other animal crossing a few days ago and loved it so started considering playing pocket camp to

It has the same gameplay as the last version with some add ons. There are complete tickets which you can get from events or Gulliver islands which you can use to get older items or fortune cookies. Also there are daily traveling merchants instead of just every once in a while and they change everyday. There's a new area called Whistle Pass where you can see other players and ask them for help to get into the quarry. You can also get gifts from them. And KK will have a concert there every night. Basically it's easier to get the items and decor you want and not have to worry about leaf tickets which are now tokens which are easier to get.

It's definitely worth getting imo I think lots of people would agree as well.

So: 1 I walked my character in a pretty place and left it there. 2 i opened the in-game camera and selected the “no borders” option 3. I started screen recording on my phone. 4 i dragged the camera around to film a “tour”. You can do so but sadly your character doesn’t move. The trick is they take your flowers but not your seeds. You can regrow them and the green and purple ones will sell for more than normal flowers

I tend to spend more on Cyrus, there are some items that would cost a lot of resources to craft (Premium furniture and Special furniture for example). And the cookies are randomised so you can end up with something you didn't want.

it really depends on what you're looking for. if you want a specific item it can be tough with fortune cookies since the item you get is still random. I usually use mine to get the NPC items like Katie or Isabelle etc

Especially the items that usually cost like 100 tokens

If you have timed essence maps they are a better deal, 3 token for 11 vs 20 tokens for 10 or more.
But other then that I don't think so, they seem to come up enough for me as my quarry resource and you can get 2 visits from whistle pass.

I picked Isabelle because she's easy to remember, so you basically just remember how many times it flips, if you can't, try to remember the colours

Or it's count 3 and start tapping for the 4th, but still. It's goes by really fast for me to remember the exact, but I don't miss Isabelle's with that method.

Ok i just have to vent for a sec. I just completed my HH classes for the day and got this screen that said that i completed all the normal classes. There’s literally no more advancement unless a challenge comes out. I’m bummed because according to the catalog, you get a Royal Crown when you reach Ultimate Rank 1, and I’m at Legend Rank 36. Which means that i can only advance levels if I complete events like Lottie’s challenges which are few and far between now that fortune cookie HH classes were taken away. I was really looking forward to having that Royal Crown :(

Yeah, removing cookie and event classes made the higher HHA ranks basically unobtainable. Major oversight from the devs, I don't think they thought that through. I'm really hoping the April update addresses it.

It'll start whenever your "new day" resets on that date. So for some people that means it could even start at the very last hour of the day at 11pm if that's their reset time. My reset time is 1am.

I played New Leaf and now New Horizons; I use the small version of the switch. I would reccomend at least that, fussing on a phone and swapping through inventory/emotes/chat/etc with a cell phone would probably be difficult

I don't know what in gods name compelled me to do this, but I've now officially invited every villager that's invitable to my campsite after just a month first playing (I just now need to wait for whenever the Sanrio villagers are able to be picked up again lol )

I'm not really sure myself I've only decided to start doing it recently after obtaining all treasure maps while I was grinding for sparkle stones lol (Which, for short, what I did for that was spend the 5 leaf tokens to clear the maps and use 3 gold treats and 3 bronze treats to get them all to level 9, 2 stones from each villager!)
I was at around 220ish I think and I was like, sure, why not get every villager
Hardest part was gathering the materials for everything, which luckily Pete was really helpful at, showing me which visitor had the materials I'm after to do task for Also the contacts page lets you favorite all the campsite requirements!

In terms of time spent… it’s worth that much… there’s enough content. But it IS a mobile game… so it’s repetitive and lots of “farming”

I’ve really loved how we get to know ALL the characters and the items are so cuuuuute. Lots of dopamine hits lol.

And today I discovered I can turn my character and the animals into stickers on my phone via screenshots.

Honestly idk if I would have paid $25. I got it for $10. But, it IS a very good game especially for a mobile game! I think if you enjoy decorating, then it will be very fun because the furniture items are much cooler than the ones in the main Animal Crossing games. If you simply enjoy the feeling of leveling up, you can spend ages doing that because there's over 400 villagers and they can each get to level 100.

As for events, the game basically cycles between 3 types of events:

• Garden / Bug-catching event: Plant and grow flowers that spawn bugs. Catch as many bugs as you can to get furniture rewards!
• Fishing tourney: Catch as many fish as you can to get furniture rewards.
• Gyroidite scavenger hunt: Collect gyroidites to craft special furniture.

The events are super easy to complete. If you're looking for a challenge, it may disappoint. I think a lot of people enjoy the chill pace of it though. And you could possibly get tired of doing the same 3 types of events over and over, but the furniture rewards change, and I think that's most people's goal is to collect all the furniture and then decorate with them.
