There's a button that lets you scan codes from your saved photos gallery

Just save the QR code part of the card to your phone's gallery and then open it with that button and it should work

There is actually an option to move your data from one device to another but it requires you to still have the old device with the game. It's pretty fun. Unlike new horizons you are basically given a finite amount of space that you can't change though you can make the top floor of your camper bigger and get I think up to 3 floors in your cabin. The gameplay is easy so it's a game you can play a lot or only pick up once in a while. Also there's lots of items that we don't have in new horizons.

It's also much easier to change themes of your campsite, cabin etc. And to swap out villagers.

Buuuut apparently you can only install it on one device, and you cannot transfer that data once you install Pocket Camp Complete. And if I’m understanding this right, if you buy a new iPhone (or iPad, Android etc) and get rid of the one you have your game installed on, your save data just gets erased completely? 😵‍💫

No, you can back up the save to a sever temporarily for transferring to a new device.

You just need to remember to do that before deleting the game from the old device.

I think the new friend system could still use some tweaks in general. I’d like for the friends to shuffle in Whistle Pass more often than 24 hours at a time so I could see more of them. I have my list filled, but I only get to see a few friends a day.

So I haven't played the original ACPC in well over a year, but bought Complete and transfered my level 150 account over. This is awesome, being able to reasonably afford stuff now. 🙂

Currently using complete tickets to grab all the previously expensive special characters and using a fraction of my tokens to fast track Gulliver for the missing campers I don't have yet.

Not having access to other player gardens is going to make getting the rest of the pansy stuff take a while, tho.

Back when I was farming essence for amenity crafting, I'd just fill up my campsite with the highest level campers that gifted the type I needed and spoke to them a few times each day for gifts.

It's slow going, but it was a steady passive supply.
