Yeah fair
lets keep it here
im not sure how much isn't shown by the task manager
unity only really uses like 2GB at max
i might look that up a little bit later..
as when i look for performance and stuff im not considering how it actually works
theres alot i dont know.. and i just compare the numbers i see..
which probably isn't all that accurate
Fair enough
#💻┃unity-talk message well thats more accurate innit?
well its the same as ur other window then nvm
around 80% or so
Yeah it was the same tbf
its just the unshown system tasks that take up the rest i suppose
Windows11?
Yeah
i try my best to shutdown and disable all those services i dont use
but its never-ending
yeah
there this antimalware service executable that uses a lot of ram but like
that sounds important
oh yea i wouldn't touch anything like that
yeah for sure
not sure about urs but my -Processes and Background Tasks section is always Enormous
i don't know how many are actually needed
doesn't matter.. most of the time u close something and it'll just re-open
🤣
if its Operating System related.. its bit difficult to keep Windows from doing what windows wants to do
Lol true
yeah
soo i wouldn't worry about the ram and performance until like i said
it starts messing with ur unity install
or crashing
yeah fair enough
then i'd try to consider it 👍
it just can feel a little bit annoying yk when stuff gets slow
and tbf it happened with VSCode too
i try to restart the Editor and even the PC every couple of hours and stuff
its ususally the cheapest and easiest way to keep ur projects running smoothly
as soon as u start it geting a bit slow.. do that 👍
Ah fair good idea
but.. im not gonna continue to ramble tho.. gotta get some work done myself 😄
best of luck mate 🍀 see, ya around
