k.. the thing with events is, go into them every 5 minutes, do the things, then go out again, either close the app or go into meso/beyond/primary.. and when you do go back in, always do the ad for 2x. And you probably already do this, but make sure you have the 4x ad bonus always (blue text in the numbers in the event). All that will make events go relatively fast

Nope. It's treated as 1 TB = 1000 GB = 1000000 MB on Hard drives, SSDs though, an old marketing thing from the 2000s that got out of hand.
So when you read 1 TB, just think "1 trillion bytes". It actually is a true 1 TB (1024 GB), but the rest is hidden from you bc slack space and the like.

I think it's the AI "style" of hyperrealistic thing that doesn't actually match reality and is just a little wonky in certain ways. For me it's all the uneven eyes that sets off my AI alarm
And yeah it really depends on the sort of AI for me personally. I don't like generative AI, but that's not what upscaling is (tmk), and there are plenty of other sorts of AI that many write off as bad just because it shares a name with genAI

What happens when you close that window and click on "Upgrade Universe"? That only shows when you (in this case) have completed Beyond 16 and can go to Beyond 17. And the "16.4" bit is very strange. You have updated your Cells app, right?

Ah ok. What I would suggest is back up your Cells progress to the Cells' servers (Settings -> Save Manager -> View in Crossplatform Saves -> Upload to the Cloud)... make a Cells account if it just shows a "Link" button instead.. so that your save is safe, then nuke your Cells game on your Android device (including user data). Reboot your phone. Then download the game again, and inside the game, go back into the Save Manager and "Download to this device"). Something has gotten messed up with your install and hopefully it's not a messed up save file.. (if you have used Google Play for your Cells saves up to this point, that might be the reason right there, people sometimes have issues with that).. and hopefully this will fix your issue.

That is really weird! Idk, it does sound like you have a messed up save file, though you could try installing Steam on your PC and trying it there. If it still shows weird on the Steam version of Cells, then that would have to mean your save is partially borked. The only real fix is to start fresh.. but you could maybe contact Cells (Computer Lunch) customer support, idk if they can help you. Either way, I'm glad you could get it running again, even if weird!

You aren't logging in with google, you're downloading/uploading your saves to the Cells servers, that's totally separate (and a manual process, so you'll need to upload that on your Android device, before you can download it to your iPhone).. I do this all the time between iPadOS and Steam on PC

To upload it, on your Android device, open the game, go to save manager, then crossplatform saves then view button. If you haven't created a Cells account yet, you'll need to give it a valid email and create a password, first. At that point, you are at a page where you can "Upload to the Could" or "Download to this device". Upload here. Then on your iPhone, go into the same place, but select Download. Easy!

I'm not going to say this with 100% authority because I created my account long before I ever played cells on my (android) phone, but I believe you could just log out and then use the create account button there. I believe you can use the same email that you're using currently (I'm also using a gmail account), but the difference is it should register the account in the CtS servers, instead of in the Google servers

Well, depends how far you are and what you're doing currently. Are you running the 4x boost (ideally with Infinite Pass or ad boosting on mobile)? Have you bought the last research slot? Are you only upgrading cards for your last few generators, and getting those generators to decently high levels before focusing on the episode's missions? etc etc but those are some common pieces of advice

I'm going to assume you mean prestige as in reset primary sim, not the Meso mechanic; the best strategy depends on how far you are (Research Level), but really there's no harm in resetting as long as there's an upgrade in the Reality Engine that you can buy

At that point, you'll probably get the fastest progression by resetting often. If you pay attention to the bars at the top of the screen that show how much metabits and knowledge you'll get when you reset, you'll see that they slow down the longer your sim is running. This means that most of your earnings will come from the first 15min or so.
That being said, don't sweat it if you can't or don't want to do that. It's not a race to finish, especially when the game's still in development, and there's nothing you can really do that will completely stop your progress

I feel like modules are on average more useful in terms of pure progression, but augments are definitely more fun for adding new models to the simulation and sometimes they unlock new nodes on the tree. Also the first few levels of upgrades aren't bad, but only the first few levels because after that they start to get expensive.

Sadly this update is kind of a downgrade for me. Before you could refresh your bots indefinitely every 2,5 min. now after 4-5 uses they have an internal cooldown, so a 12 min break from rushing early on... great.
And i get it - its 6 bots now, not 12, but the the income is much lower now, so...

Not really. Before the update it was a kind of burst income. Now i barely see a difference if i activate the bots or just tap... The profit speed is almost the same.
