Ok finished the fungus event. My feedback: It was a really good event, and it basically teaches you everything about fungus. It's very interesting to go through it. However I think the progress is a little bit to slow, and I had to spend some dariwinium for boosts and afk with autoclicker, and I don't think this event is possible to do without doing this in 4 days. So yeah it just needs some more balancing, but otherwise it's good

There is an error with the fungi badge descriptions - the boost seems to depend on whatever you clicked last; when you first view the badge, I believe it says "Ai". Note in the following two screenshots how the boost changes for the same badge:

Getting pretty far in the Shroom event, and one thing I like over the Webb event is that the upgrades for the most part stay relevant. There's a few that lose that potence, but it lasts in value long enough that it's not a big deal.

No worthless ground telescope here. It feels a bit on the sluggish side given the time constraint, but in your defense I missed about 30 hours.

Visually, the web of upgrades looks pretty neat, though I feel like an art style should probably be consistent. The garden is decent, though it reminds me more of a 1.0 garden than a 2.0.

I in particular like the spore clouds that belch from some of the shrooms.

1. the pacing is a bit too slow - I had to boost in order to complete it in time. Granted, you get darwinium throughout, but it is kinda a zero-sum game in that regard.

2. The reward at the end still has the James Webb Telescope text. :)

I just finished the Fungis event without using any boosts, so it can be done if you run the game most of your day. I only have the silver and gold badges. I had the bronze but it seems to have vanished when I got the silver.

It is not really easy to have it finished on PC version when you have quite limited amount of darwinium... I have finished 6/9 achievements in that event but quite far away to finish 7th achievement. And I used some darwinium to have 2x boost for almost whole event + used some darwinium to double my offline achievements. IMO it should be a bit boosted, but not too much to keep it still a bit challenging.

It was pretty easy to finish on Android, but I think Steam would be a lot harder. It looks like things are cheaper on Steam (judging by a screenshot I saw), but if I hadn't been able to boost the offline rewards I definitely would have struggled. I'm not sure exactly how long it took me on Android, but I think it was about 30 hours.

While Discord is running (or at least exists on your system), the game will perform a sort of implicit auth with Discord using the provided Discord application that I've implemented for the game. After that, it updates your rich presence on a callback with the data we give it to display.

I didn't complete fungus in the last beta, but this beta is slow going, even running 4x overdrive.
I assume its slower by design, compared to James Webb, which is fine. But it feels like this will be pushing the time limits to complete if you don't catch it on the first day of release. I started a couple of hours after it launched, and I am on 7 now.
Also, was the time extended? Or am I losing days in reality? 😂

The 2nd beta is more developed, and it has more traits which also led to it having Octillions (the 1st beta had Sextillions), but it's also way harder (I almost wasn't able to complete it)

If you were affected by the sudden disappearance of your hard-earned Fungus Among Us badges, first off- we deeply apologize! We understand how painful it is to suddenly lose important simulation progress. Second off- there are multiple ways to fix it:

For some players, it will be automatically fixed when updating the game. For players still experiencing a 'no badges' issue, please email us at [e-mail], and we'll restore them on our end!

We also developed an easy fix tool for the risk takers:

• Click on the hamburger menu in the top right of your screen.
• Scroll down to the bottom and select the 'Fix Fungi Badges' button.

Please let us know if you run into any additional problems with ^this new tool. Our goal is to get this ready for all affected Universe Architects as soon as possible, and your feedback for this fix is the most important step!
