I like this game because it rewards people who have been playing longer. But, and this could just be because it's in beta, it does feel like I pop in the game to check my progress and I can only rank like one thing.

I dunno. I wish I had've had the patience to do 50 ranks in The Valley before my first prestige. This was when prestige was new and they put the first option at 42.

Besides, if the Devs are going to do something similar in The Beyond, the first couple of times through build outs to AC should take some time. It's more rewarding that way.

Sometimes it won't let me buy one of something even if I have enough stardust, but it will let me buy it when I have enough stardust to buy two or more.

You are lucky it didn't happen over the weekend. It will typically happen once a week that way they can work out more of the issues. It's a true Beta and not a 'early access'.

Really? Interesting..... I prefer Steam. The larger screen makes Cells look beautiful. Also Steam is must faster (at least for me). The only thing mobile gives me is that I can carry it with me wherever I go. :)

The pros for Steam is that it has autoclickers (which are legal anyway), it's SO MUCH easier to speedrun singularity since precision is insanely good on computers, and the pros of android is that you can save darwin by watching ads, which is really great for spending the saved darwin for geodes or stars

@shy prism @north sparrow Just so this somehow doesn't get out of hand, yes, the simulations are all tied together. An example of them being tied together is when even Lunch himself mentioned in the stream that he was going to have Mars in The Beyond become terraformed when you terraform mars in the main simulation. Also, having simulations show more linearity (i.e. have the beyond before main sim) does make sense as you can't progress earth's evolution if the Earth doesn't exist in the first place.

I might think of it as awareness with intelligent awareness called sentience later on. For example, even Alpha Centari was around before the first building blocks of life happened here. So it's logical the Beyond part of the game happens not at the end of the Terraforn Mars mission is done on the Main. But also Semblance doesn't see time the same way we do., maybe

Yes, both are true. :) I currently do NOT have a ghost galaxy to click on. If I am ever kicked out of the beyond (eg, a Beyond reset), I will not be able to get back into Beyond. But I am still in Beyond (eg, save game).

@vague basalt true. But Semblance only gets to that level of self creation and simulation mastery after acquiring what is needed in the Reality Engine and progression of understanding. It's like if Doctor Manhattan keeps growing with each creative and destructive act. For our purposes, we might have Semblance in understanding The Beyond and act in It's creation perhaps at the Superhuman or Colonist levels

I like to think of Semblance as a learning machine, not unlike the AI's that learn how to play chess, Go (good luck!) and Starcraft.

what would be awesome to see, evolutionary, are all the millions and billions of branches that don't work. After-all, that is what make evolution really work, IMO - a giant "test it and let's see" experiment.

Am I the only one who gets less stardust while the game is closed?

I'm doing the save stardust mission and even doubling when I come back the next morning I'm not even a quarter of the way to 4.4qi and its been a few days now. So I get this feeling of it not getting anything when it's closed.

As far as I know the earnings ratio offline/online is 1/4. In other words, if you earn 1 qi per hour and you close the game, you will earn 1 qi in 4 hrs offline. I am not sure about this ratio, but I heard it somewhere years ago. Though you can watch an ad or spend 2 darwiniums to double your earnings, it's still under online earnings. Though the ratio might have been changed or different for the beyond.

It happened on level 14 after completing one of the objectives

And it won't let me rank up any of my enhancements or buy celestial bodies

I encountered a similar bug a few weeks ago but it resolved itself after a few hours of the game being off.

I looked at that "red bar" carefully on a larger screen. It is simply the "Upgrade Universe" button sitting behind the "Max Rank" banner. It looks like the Devs did not set the visibility=false for the upgrade, and thus you can interact with the Upgrade Universe button. Nor is the Max Rank banner on subsequent ranks, thus easier to hit the upgrade button. More interestingly, though, is that the Semblance dialog is still relevant at Rank 18 and 19 (different than Rank 17), but then starts to repeat after that.

I am not so sure..... this will slow things down for those of us that like to take new CBs to high levels before upgrading the universe; with the new change, that benefit is completely wiped out.

no, it doesn't really reset, tho only difference is that now the buy rank will rebuy all ranks one by one instead of wanting to buy the next unreached rank, you keep all the cards and the multis. the only thing that could be anoying is the fact you will have to get back to your need rank for missions, but it shouldn't take a lot longer than before

well.... until the most recent patch, tapping was pretty useless. Ironically, the recent patch reworks ranks, so it is even more click heavy.

Having said that, the game progresses faster, so I am happy for that.

they are not frozen - look very carefully at the moon going around earth. It is just very very slow. CBs will speed up when:

1. you boost (with ads or darwinium)
2. get speed up trait cards (for the CB, and also rare/epic traits)
3. click on the hyperspeed purplish vortex thingy
4. complete constellations that speed things up

@zenith egret you might be in 9.48 - the number displayed in app incorrectly displays 9.45 (if planet x did not cost stardust then you're in .48). I too am constantly refreshing play store to get this update.
