similarly, I somehow managed to get "DNA" highlighted (not sure how), and now I can't scroll UP if DNA would scroll off the screen

the white square goes away briefly when the overlay for acquired entropy/idea pops up

it also briefly goes away if I get the overlay from having click on a flyby pteranodon that wants me to spend a cube, and comes back once I click past that screen

I've found one error already. After clearing glitches with metabits, the upgrades appear on the tree but not in the Research list. The first few were there when I first started the game.
And then I bought one off the tree, and the Research list magically populated like it's supposed to be.

So, here's where I'm at. I've bought (I think) everything for the new tree except Chimpanzee (can't afford it yet). Caniform, Feliform and Monotreme appear in the Life menu. Ungulate does not. That highlight around Feliforms is persistent, regardless of where I click. (Side note: 'Caniform' singular vs 'Feliforms' plural makes my grammar consistency brain twitch). The only other upgrades I know I haven't got are the Yottabyte upgrade in the Reality Engine (can't afford), and the last two sharks (time).
Menus won't scroll anywhere in the game, both main area and Mesozoic.
The highlight around Feliforms seems to be tied to the first thing on a list; going to the Idea menu highlights Martian City for example.
The description of the King of the Jungle and Deja Vu achievements is not persistent; depending on what other achievement I click before it, it changes. For example...
Click Onward and Upward first....
Click Terraform Mars first...
... for both achievements.

also for anyone wondering the most expensive upgrade in cell to singularity right now is ||champanzee which costs 95.40Tdc|| (spoilered it in case anyone wants to find out naturally, didnt spoil the things above though because i wanted to help out any players that are wondering if feliforms or neoaves produce more and which one you should try to go for first)

So, Steam version 6_89. I'm still listed as in beta by Steam. No error log appears, or day skipper tool. The 'Early Access 6_89' banner doesn't always appear; sometimes it's there, sometimes not. I haven't figured out a pattern yet.
Scroll bug is still there. I can attempt to scroll up in the menus (it jumps back down because it's at the top), but cannot scroll down (doesn't move at all). In MV, on the Upgrades menu, which direction I can try to scroll depends on if I'm set to Type(^), Type (v) or Rank Up. One of the types kicks me to the bottom of the menu and the problem is reversed.

@eternal oar the scrolling effect is based on which item is selected. That item must remain on the screen, no matter which direction you're going. The mesozoic rank up one is different because what is selected when you're on "Rank" sorting is in the middle of the list. So the selected item can hit the top and bottom of the screen when scrolling.
for every other list, its almost always the first item (eg, achievements) that is selected, so you can't scroll down at all

I can confirm the bug with their being 35 organisms to buy, instead of 29. evident at all BUY levels. If I put it to 100, its most obvious, because it still says "6" even though there isn't anything I can buy at the "100" level.
