What are the chances of myriapods being added at somepoint?

||I know they aren’t currently in the simulation (even as work in progress content) but I feel like a major group of arthropods that are so distinct and unique compared to the other arthropods being left out is kinda weird (I get it 3 fits better than 4 generators but evolution couldn’t care less) and yes I know in the current layout of the tree it wouldn’t work since inclsects are in the way and has what is probably the most upgrades in the game for a single generator, and the balancing nightmare of adjusting for 4 arthropod generators instead of 3 is also an issue, but I just want millipedes, centipedes and he’ll even pull bugs to at least exist in the simulation|| spoiler due to some of this being based on stuff dataminers spoiled back in December (they didn’t spoiler it, and it was a bit of a let down seeing that even after months of development the ||arthropod|| tree is still out of date.)

Honestly, the best thing i did to help my RL was go nuts in the Mesozoic... I did a full prestige in the past couple of weeks. Every extinction is an additional multiplier. That and slow upgrades to the Reality Engine.

My weird advice is for this to not be people's main game. One of the reasons I chose this game is because I can play only a few minutes per day and not fall behind.
Log in, collect offline rewards, buy a few generators, log right back off. Can do other things while waiting for the 14 day time chamber to build up. Either that or go crazy with an auto-clicker 24/7. 😄

Our first version of automation, which had an entire tree, felt a little too complicated. So now we’re trying to fold those features into the existing nanobots, while making them much faster and more useful during rebooting.

automation was extra steps and hassle without being fast.

When we shared automation the first time, it did not seem like the beta groups got very excited about it. So we took the feature back to the drawing board.

Originally, we wanted a more passive automation style, like CIFI.

But I think most players ( especially the more casual players. ) just wanted to get back up the tree quickly, with more active input, like triggering it themselves.

The team wanted to get rid of the red because it feels alarming, like a warning or “what did I do wrong?” Then we tried green and blue, but those felt a little too close on the color wheel, especially for colorblind players. So now we’re trying green and orange. I’m not sure. What do you think of those colors?

We are also trying to make the nanobot upgrade tree interesting across the entire game, so they start off weak and become very powerful in the late game. This is the current upgrade section. The idea is that players will keep upgrading them from around Sim Level 23 through roughly 120.

Seeing it in game, I agree that orange for Buy makes more sense. It feels more active.

We were thinking of matching the green highlight to the buy color, but switching it is easy.

Yes, this might mean that late-game players have their current nanobot count reduced to 6 bots ( Sim evel 60), but as we keep adding content, they will be able to reach up to 12 by the endgame.

So I’m not sure if players will be upset, but we hope it will be more fun overall if there is always something to improve.
