All of you may not know me but I sadly lost all of my progress due to my stupidness

Not all of it but a chunk ton

The Mesozoic valley was a 39 and beyond was on episode 10

That’s how much I lost

So I just need some motivation to see if I can even continue playing the game

To see if I could even get the data back really

I've had the same thing happen to me and I completely restarted, i wanted to quit and find a hammer, but I remembered something important... we do this in our free time. that time that we spent on the game will never be recovered, but, hey, you know what's going to happen in the next beyond and Mesozoic.

I'm not an expert, so this is based on information I've gathered.

Hope Episode: Machines in general rely on math, especially probability and statistics.
Artificial intelligence is currently not conscious and is best viewed as a collection of "weak artificial intelligences".
As such, they simply give self-evident answers that are statistically most reasonable, beneficial to the enterprise, or non-controversial.
However, the ideal future, according to the law of mathematical acceleration, is one in which the computational power of machines grows exponentially, as singularitarians always say.
Just as Moore's Law will eventually be broken by new, previously unthinkable wavefronts, whether it's artificial intelligence agents or improved GPU performance.
They believe that AI will one day surpass humans, solving problems based on ideas we can't think of or do, and solving moral dilemmas that arise in unexpected ways.
There will be "bad AI" that makes errors and mistakes, especially since it mimics humans, but they believe they will be in the minority and can be stopped by "good AI".
Fewer and fewer people deny that AI is the only solution to the extinction crisis we face in the Anthropocene in the first place.
We've already come too far, and the odds of succeeding in a group of 8 billion people are close to zero.
In addition, the singularity is moving from the realm of science fiction to being increasingly accepted as a reality, to the point where experts are now discussing when it will happen.
The bottom line is that, as I mentioned earlier, we're already close to the extinction filter according to the giant filter theory, and that's practically 100%, but if there's any chance at all that a conscious strong AI will save humanity, they're going all in.

The fear episode: What we've just described is the idealized utopian theory of singularity theorists.
But the reality is much more complicated and chilling.
The very idea of imitating humans, even aside from simple machine error, introduces a huge philosophical dilemma in the first place
It's not for nothing that movies, novels, and other media utilize such extreme tropes.
Right now, even our own humanity has an ethical vacuum that's fraught with problems.
Even if we were smarter than all of humanity and could solve them, we would still have to sacrifice in some way.
Because even if we don't stop the runaway AI, if the bad people who use it get things wrong, we'll still be in trouble.
There is also the possibility that AGI or ASI will not arrive in the early years in a timely manner.
We're still in the AWI phase, as I explained earlier.
After two AI winters, we've finally found a way to interact with machines in earnest, but we don't know how they work, whether they're conscious (we don't even know what consciousness is), or how to make them moral.
Maybe we're just using this unpredictable and unprepared technology as a Band-Aid to avoid disappointment.
The bottom line is, whether you're on the hopeful side or the despairing side, we're scared of our ignorance.
But at the same time, humanity has progressed by overcoming that fear, so it's worth a shot.

a few minutes ago i tried to open cts and it didn't work and i got an error message that said something like this:

I was in call with my friend and I thought maybe was taking up a lot of memory. I checked task manager and got something like this:

I had over half of my memory free. I didn't know what to do so I left the call and then tried to launch the game and I kept the task manager in the corner, just in case something happened. The memory usage spiked to 99% right after the game launched and the game was getting 23000 fps, although the limit is supposed to be 60. and then my computer bluescreened with an error code of MEMORY_MANAGEMENT it looked something like this:

after my laptop restarted, I got a screen that said "recovery your device/pc needs to be repaired. There isn't enough memory available to create a ramdisk device. Error code 0xc0000017" it looked a bit like this:

windows booted up after doing a "hard reset" (its like a data factory reset but it doesn't delete all your data but still like completely refreshes the pc) but cts wouldn't open.

I have been a part of the beta version for several years and I would like to make a suggestion. As a non-native English speaker, every time I open the new content of the beta version, only English has text while other languages are blank. I hope the developers can add a "alternative language" feature. If there is no translation for the corresponding language, English should be used instead. Most other games have this feature, such as Minecraft. It can also greatly enhance the testing experience, for example, when new and old content are mixed in Beyond .

I didn't notice anything as the event was going, but for the next time it runs, the boost gets applied then. At least, that's the way I interpret it. I noticed this with the Tea event, not the AI event. Will there be an event tomorrow with a new beta (alpha in Steam) client?

i personally believe that there are too many exploration events now, right now theres around 17 events and that Number will only increase

its not a bad idea to add more events but the more you add the harder it becomes to play a certain event you want to do. maybe to unlock the badges

the way exploration events should work now that we have alot is that you should be able to choose which event you want to play every week (EG: 1 week i want to do fungi, another week i want to do Bee event)
