Question for Cells Support/Dev in regard to the latest update (re: balance/tuning Neolithic age) - is the expectation that beta testers will buy stuff in the logit store during beta (200 logits and 80 darwinium cubes), and then purchase them again in public? Those logit purchases offer a massive boost to Neolithic age, but beta players will have to double-spend if they want to try them in both beta and public. Right? But if beta players do not purchase them in beta, then they don't do the testing for balancing/tuning.

I'm just a little confused. 😁

It depends on which version you have installed and running. The latest version puts all beta testers into the public game, no matter if you are in beta or not. If you have a previous version, you might still have the beta tag. Recent dev work that was being worked on beta has now moved to public. (not sure about Music)

On this newest Beta version, everything seems to be working well except for one oddity. A few seconds after starting the game a music clip starts playing, and simply won't go away unless I force close the game. I've rebooted, checked other apps running etc. The game plays as normal, no issues in events, beyond, ads, leaderboards, or anything else I can find. It's not a song in the jukebox and I can hear the regular game music playing underneath it.

Only thing I didn't try was making sure the game is saved and then uninstall/reinstall, that's next.

Edit: Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled. Music started playing before I could even recover my save.

Would love to know if anyone else is experiencing this.

It is mostly safe. There are certain situations in which you have to be very careful if you restore/download the saved game (eg, when you are in public which doesn't have all the beta content, and you want to upload again to "save" something). But for the most part, this is fine.

Bottom line, be careful and think things through.

21.73 test is done. I didn't see a bug on beyond. The TRAPPIST-1 System's Exoplanets' text are very cool! but Kepler 186 System's Exoplanets' text are same with Tau Ceti's Exoplanets' text. That could be perfect with real look like of Exoplanets' text of Kepler 186.

Curious, there are two constellations in EP21 - one gives a boost to 2/3 of the new generators, while the other gives a big boost to clicks. The one for clicks (Hydra) is freakishly expensive, I thought. 😁 I mean, for clicks?

Also, Trappist is said to be a system with multiple possible earth-like planets; however, the system as a whole does not get any boosts from "earth-like" Lyra. Instead, like the other two EP21 planets, it is considered "exoplanet". Why is it "exoplanet" but not "earth-like"? Since it is a system, I would think it would be both or neither, not just one.

I've had the pleasure to play several music events in Beta. They've added up.

Plus I have pressured myself to complete every one. I've missed out on completing just about every other event at least once. That third badge is hella important

Keep in mind, Semblance is looking for a suitable planet for humans to migrate to. Even though EP21 is "Find a perfect star", I don't think Semblance actually found a perfect star, and the hunt is still on. Of course, the story writers might have dug themselves a little bit of a hole, because it is impossible to find a candidate planet with today's information - Semblance is going to have to truly extrapolate (as said in the EP21 prologue), which means the story writers are going to have to invent a suitable new human home. It's tricky because the story writers are pretending to be a super powerful and vast AI, and AI seeking to find the needle of an earth-like planet amidst the haystack of 40 billion planets. And so far, Semblance only found 2 exoplanets and a star system.

I'm working through Episode 21 on the beyond (looks great so far!) , and I'm thinking it's time to get a second currency there.

With the numbers required in the beyond and the (lack of) effect that our solar system has on the later planets we probably need to move to a second currency like in the music event. Like after Alpha Centuri we have to tap to earn "deep space stardust" or "ancient stardust" or something.

Actually main sim, money, tea, and music all have second currencies (money has 4/5, the 5th being as much a separate currency as the "different currencies" in mass extinction and pollination).

• Fixed: Orbit lines lag behind camera in the Garden - we fixed some of the ways that planets and their orbit lines could get separated.
• Polish for Kepler-186 planets & star.
• Fixed: icons for Earth-Like and Giant categories missing.
