Hello! I know this is completely unrelated to the beta but I also have a question, do you guys ever plan to add a “collect” button when opening a medium/giant star similar to how Mesozoic Vally allows you to instantly open a Diamond geode without the need to slowly break it off one by one

I know beyond is normally shorter then Mesozoic Vally due to having no prestige’s and way less ranks but it would definitely save a lot of time if you could instantly collect the rewards of a giant star/black hole instead of pressing it a lot

Question for the devs - how is the time for completion being determined in the Research Race? The completion time being recorded upon completion is very different from the actual.play time. Some clarity on that front will be highly beneficial. In the last run (19_92) the time being logged upon completion was the game play time ... TIA!

NEW Beyond Episode 20: Strange Worlds is in Beta! Here’s what you’ll find:
-5 new generators exploring exciting exoplanets
-12 new Series II trait cards to boost the simulation
-2 new constellations

The Beyond Jump feature is turned back on. You will not be reset with this version, but as you enter Episode 20, it will save your progress at the end of Episode 19. Future updates to Beta will restart you to the end of Episode 19 so that you can replay 20.

Leaderboards and Research Race:
-Cohort starts on first click in the event
-New Profile Icon + Profile Customization Logit prizes
-Fixed: Metabit upgrades not localized in Chinese

i do that very often. You do have to be cautious about some things that are beta-only, if you every play the public game and download your save. Otherwise, no big deal.

In general, anything you acquire in Beta that is beta-only will be lost when/if you switch to public. There are exceptions, but this is a rule of thumb. Some things you get in beta are supported in public. It is not always clear what those are

I could spend many years attempting to explain it, but you'd only understand it once you experience it

but anyway let me dive into the lore of the Beyond Episode 20: Strange Worlds

While Semblance clearly explains her intentions of finding habitable exoplanents in this new chapter of Beyond Phase 2: The Milky Way, none of the new interstellar bodies fit this description

Fomalhaut's ring is nothing more than just a protoplanetary disk

WASP-12b is literally being ripped apart by it's star, and it's a gas giant

Awohali is also a gas giant so it isn't suitable for future humans

Kepler-70b surface is literally hotter than the sun

and Janssen is too close to it's star to be habitable for future human explorers

so in a nutshell none of the new interstellar bodies that we've discovered are suitable for humans

hopefully episode 21 will add to the Strange Worlds arc but actually have suitable planents for human beings

Now that I think about it I find that I was too stupid to realize that the obvious next phase of exploring interstellar space was exoplanets

I wonder what future episodes have in store for us

of course there are obvious choices (nebulas, black holes, quasers, etc) but in what ORDER will we explore them in?
