you should not just put errors here. They are usually a regular occurrence in game normally. But, if you see something unusual, such as a graphical bug or calculation error or total game breakdown, refer to the console and post photos/video's and the console log.

You're right that there are two instances of Alpha Centauri right now at two different zoom levels - one for the old garden that's relative to the rest of the solar system, and one that's on the same scale as the new Episode 18 garden. We will combine them in the future so that there's only one. For now, two makes the zoom levels work better.

The debugger panel is not supposed to be in production versions, @formal torrent . It was in the beta only to help diagnose a very troublesome bug. And because of it, we caught that bug with the beta testers' help! So you won't see it again unless we really need it.

What about the issues that are still in the public beta? I filed a couple bug reports already (for previous versions, not fixed in latest version). For example, after upgrading to Rank 18, it is possible to speedrun up to Alpha Centauri, and then when you try to "fill in the blanks" later (like, rank Ganymede, IO, The Moon), you get a cut scene for each of them. Worse, a little later after Barnard's star, it is possible to re-trigger the tutorial about research missions, which causes the whole game to become stuck (I "fix" it by quitting and restarting the game).

I have a question reagrding the constellation mission. In this picture, it says that the constellation mission should be granting 1-3 constellation fragments upon its completion:

However, during my time, I have completed about 8 of these, and every single time, I have received a single constellation fragment. Now this is not impossible assuming an even probability distribution among the three possibilites. But the odds of this happening just by chance with an even 1/3 probability for each outcome is 1/6561.

This is not a zero probability, but it feels rather low to me. So I am wondering if there is some kind of bug, or if the probability distribution for the number of fragments is not even.

Is this something that I should report as a bug, or is this actually expected behavior?

You start with the thought of an even distribution (1/3) for each possible option, which is possible not the case. Maybe it's 3/6, 2/6 & 1/6 as with a 1/3 distribution those fragments are handed out quite "fast" & devalue for example the black hole which you can buy with money

Well yes, I started with a hypothesis that there was an even probability of 1/3 for each of the three possibilities of 1,2, or 3 constellation fragments. I think that this was a fairly reasonable starting hypothesis. If I am told that a random variable ranges from 1 to some integer n, then my instinct (and I think most people's instinct) is to assume an even distribution. But I agree with you that the data that I have indicates that there is a very low probability that this hypothesis is in fact correct. And like I said, this could mean that the distribution is not even. You gave a great example of P(1)=3/6, P(2)=2/6, P(3)=1/6. My question for the devs is whether they are expecting an even distribution. If they are, then something might be wrong. If they aren't, then I guess this is expected behavior. (Although it might be nice to know the actual probability distribution.)

I am sure that someone must have reported this already - what I see is that the JWST artifact does not come up as an item to select automatically when you are going through the beta ... Once you pass the Moon, I think it becomes available for purchase again ... I always miss it and have to go back in the tree to buy it graphically.

Tonight I was looking at my RP in both the main simulation and in the Deep Sea Life simulation, and the two numbers were different. Eventually, they did sync up, but the RP in my main simulation had gone down! And this was depsite having made progress in various simulations. Has anyone else seen anything like this happening?
