Yeah after the event was over I just changed the date on my computer in order to progress to test the later parts of the event

I like the vents on the ocean floor, and how with the nutrients floating up to the surface the earlier generators get multiplied, that’s a nice touch and pretty unique and fits with the science

Only issue I have with this event in terms of gameplay is it’s too difficult on PC even after spending a ton of darwinium on boosts and the flux capacitor

Can’t wait to see the event with the finalised graphics!

agreed! The science/facts are pretty amazing. I didn't realize we were able to explore the ocean floor, let alone the trenches, to figure out what lives down there and how it lives. It is quite an extreme environment.

I finished the new event and I really like it. Fits perfect with the TV-series based on "The Swarm" from Schätzing that was just in german television in the last weeks.
I didn't find any bugs that have not been already reported and generators and research bonuses work fine. I did manage to finish it in time but it was hard on Steam and I had to invest more darwinium than for any other event on the first run.

-technology event (like how technology has advanced)
-earth event (explores every aspect of the earth like geography, politics, geology, etc)
-country event (explores different countries [not all] and how they got independence)
-weather event (explores how weather forms, how meteorology works, etc)

these are just my ideas

It is a conundrum, is it not? I have previously asked that the devs allow both events (or multiple events) simultaneously for beta players. Or at least a better way to flip back and forth. The way we have it now, there is a penalty for beta testers (when there are beta and non-beta events at the same time) 🤪 On the flip side, if you have two devices, you can bounce between the two and farm (highly recommended!).

Yes, any beta-only badges will get wiped, that is true. If you so desire, you can farm the public event.

If you think about it, just keeping one set of deep sea badges does not buy you a whole lot. 😄

I like. Most of the previous gardens where not very interactive - pretty to look at, well done and crafted, but not much for the player to actually "do" (except the Money event, with the filling up banks to get cubes). If you want to focus on the play experience, removing the garden makes a lot of sense.

this new event reminds me of this Idea i had for a remake of Evo: Theory of Evolution

in Chapter 2, In order to evolve onto the land, fish have to build up resistance

So you follow along with the schools deeper into the depths. However, some fish who have attempted this training will choose to stay in the depths, becoming the deep-sea creatures, which account for a few of the player's endings.

If you are referring to the Deep Sea event that Rad posted above, then note that it says the event starts in 1 day and few hours. The duration of the event is typically 4 days during beta testing. I have never seen an event run for 1 day.

Deep sea event it’s a pretty fun event and it got me back into my marine phase, however I am kinda upset that there is no garden it would be so cool to have a deep sea garden but I can see why they removed gardens for the events after deep sea, Also is it just me or does this event feel a bit slow paced? Most events are normally like this but they tend to speed up at late game however deep sea is always consistent with its speed from beginning to end
