you shouldn't lose your earned badges, the extinction progress data get resetted when loading the beta event, but this doesn't affect the badges earned in the main simulation.

I get 372 Qa from flower generators and I get 1 Sx from bees every 11 seconds. But for offline earnings of like 10 minutes I only got 500 qi

the new event merged the two mechanism into the game, the main sim and the meso, which is great, but I think there's a problem with the time Flux thing
As you know, the generators related to bees are lime the ones in the meso, which doesn't generate money every second, but rather a period of time
But there's a problem with the time Flux. When you use it, it only counts the money generated by the normal generator (like the ones in main sim), but not the ones like in the meso, which is a really hig problem since it makes the gameplay really unfair given that you don't get any money from those generators
While this problem doesn't apply to the quantum charge, it's REALLY not worth it to use the time Flux in this event
There isn't a time Flux in the meso, which doesn't have the problem I just mentioned, so maybe it's because this is the first time to apply time Flux to this kind of generators that don't generate every second and the devs made a mistake
If the time Flux is intended to count the unusual generators as the production per second, please fix it. If it isn't, please consider to make it that way or else it is really unfair in the event

I had started the new pollination event...and...well....it's been reset...like I never made any progress.

1. "First bees" and "First flowers" come after bees and flowers. So.... they are second?

2. there are a number of upgrades for bees and flowers which help those those generators remain effective in the late-game, but "first bees" and "first flowers" quickly become obsolete and useless

for Devs, especially those that write the "flavor text" for in-game things: When we get to Humans, it says that flowers, bees and humans rely on each other; how do flowers rely on humans? Maybe there is a thought that humans are supposed to help support bees during large colony collapses, but maybe humans caused the collapse in the first place? Also, humans are polluting the earth, so in effect we are ultimately harming flowers, not helping them. Right?

I completed Objective 4, then 7, then 6. I am about to get Orchid Bees and I presume Orchid Flowers will finally turn up after that. Depending on Food Banking for progress was really slow, and then Bribery & Deception made Food Banking irrelevant and its upgrades pointless except for unlocking further things. This exploration has interesting facts but its gameplay is slow and boring.

agreed. The things in the middle (First * stuff and food banking) seem to get obsoleted, and the first two (bees and flowers) and whatever is most recent have the most impact. Makes the middle-game very slow, especially with generators not working offline.

pro-tip: if you have two devices, you can flip flop between beta and public quickly and easily and get extra boosts and logits. Keep one device on beta (all the time) and another device on public (all the time), finish one event on one, upload to cloud, download from cloud on the other device, finish other event. Rinse and repeat, reap rewards.

Here's what to look out for:

• Offline earnings bug is fixed
• Time flux bug is fixed
• General economy adjustments on the tree
• Tooltip text is finalized
• New event banner art
• Further developments in the Garden, especially the Humans section

This is what's pending:

• Garden is almost there, but still a WIP
• Tree background textures are still placeholders (we know tiles aren't seamless yet, and sorry about Bee price being hard to read!)
• Still fixing up economy tuning after the Humans section
• "Click to activate" tooltip by the Bees generator has yet to appear/disappear at the right time

Did you find out how it currently works? Going back to the public version removes the pollen badges, probably because they are not in the public version as you said. But why was it different for the money event? Have the files been in the public version too? Hopefully this will be the case with the next new events too, so we can play all events (public and beta) :D

I believe that when money first came out, it had the same issue (badges not saved between public and beta). From what I have learned, there was an initial problem when the fungi badges were being shared between public and beta, and some of them got wiped out, so the devs have been trying to be more careful about that.

For Devs: Observation about 15_37 (Steam)
The cost to automate Bees (the Hungry Beetle) is relatively quite high, and the cost to automate The Hive Life (Baby Bees) is relatively very low (and you get a x2 speed up for bonus). Is that intentional?

Also, I'm really liking all the upgrades and the fantastic graphics (the upgrade thumbnails, the generator icons, and especially the garden!). The Flight of the Bumblebee sound theme is a great touch! But the background music does get a bit repetitive.

Interesting observation .... I had completed the second pass of Pollination event on 14_94 last evening ... Overnight the new Android version was released (15_37) and when I updated to it, I see that it retained all my progress from 14_94 and gave me an additional badge (the last one) and then indicated that the exploration is over. Now I have 2 first and second badges and 3 third badge for the pollination event. I was thinking that when the Android version updates, it will reset my Pollination exploration progress and make me do the whole thing again. I am a bit disappointed as I was unable to test out the changes that were incorporated in the new version. Guess I will have to check with for another version drop or wait for the official release in the game 😀

Ah got it .... Lunch did indicate that they had issues with Android and that the Android release was delayed so they had turned on the 14_94 on the Android platform instead of 15_33 a couple of days back for the second round.

Lunch ... I picked it up this morning, but I see that it did not reset the progress that I had made as I was playing the 14_94 that got tuned on a couple days back .. and when I updated, I ended up with an additional third badge. Please note that I had finished the 14_94 run the second time last night and had earned the second set of badges for the Pollination event.

Right the progress will not be reset if you update Android and already have 14.94 progress. Unfortunately I will need to do a full reset on all beta players to reset that progress.

I might be reseting this beta round early to new version started.

Badges stay, as long as you stay in beta. If you switch back to production they get erased.
