Steam says "alpha_test". In-game, C2S says version 14_40, but in all respects it looks like public, except capybaras are available. It is very misleading

I have requested that the devs mark/flag all beta-only purchases so that they player knows they are beta-only, and will go away if the player goes to a non-beta version. Still waiting for them to implement that

yes. But it gets tricky if you have to keep track of where your dodos are saved, and if you switch between public and beta often. Not for the faint of heart. 😁

i defer to others. 😄 If you stay on beta for a while (and don't switch to public), you should be fine

you have at least two devices? If yes, you have several different options. One option is to keep one device on beta (never switch) so you can keep the capybaras you purchased. Another option is to write it off, and just get a crap ton of logits from farming events between public and beta (which is my recommendation).

Like Adam said, log off for a bit and let the offline idle generators do their thing. Also, you probably won't get Rai Stones until a little later, so don't fret about them now. Level up the others for a bit. The same thing will happen when you get the next currencies as well. Very much rinse and repeat.

Kinda sorta. You have to be able to switch to the non-beta public version and back to beta.

Oh, and one other detail - you have to be able to start a different exploration. Which you cannot do today, nor tomorrow because Philosophy will come out when the Money event ends. So the next time you can do this is when there are two overlapping events. If ever.
