I just thought of how the next event might work like

When they used ideas like:
"all generators matter (philosophy)"
"the generators die off (extinction)"
"there are so many currencies that go hand in hand with each other (money)"
they could make the last event that there is only one generator that has a lot of upgrades

In response to Rad, I personally like the variety and how each event has its own, distinct flow. Having said that, an event (not the last event, but an event) that has a single generator with lots of upgrades would be interesting. I'm not sure how that would fit, but I'd check it out if available. 😄

I haven't really been proofreading text. But if you were to put money somewhere on the main tree, splintering it off say the Iron Age might not be a bad idea. OR, you could incorporate it into the Metabits system layer upon layer. IOW you have to play the event like 4 times to unlock a module as well as requiring a universe reboot to access each layer till Electronic is hit.

Also, what if we had something of a Semblance key or token system put into place? The story goes your Singularity notices defects and flaws in it's build. It allows you to earn or purchase 🔑 to access unfinished events right at the place you left off. It might cost unspent Metabits?

You transfer the full amount twice first. Basically fill the bar of the respective currency on the Darwinium box. Then you just click on the transfer button of the currency you want. It'll give you a lot of that currency at once.

Yeah, I think it's a bug. I just checked. All the currencies, except commodity gives you 60 times the generation rate when you transfer. Basically, when the bar is full, each "transfer" gives you one minute worth of that currency. Except Commodities. The "transfer" in commodities gives you 0.06 times the base commodity generated per second.

Alpha is like a private beta, only available for the devs and a few other testers. The beta, is more of a public testing version that still has errors but is more refined than the alpha. People use the words interchangably but this is the actual meaning. It's got nothing to do with money/profit.

What is the text that semblance displays at the start and end of the event? When semblance says they "enjoy" something, I was expecting something MUCH more scientific. What did semblance learn? How does this exploration/experiment add to the model that semblance is working on? There is a hint that greed is essentially meaningless since we all die, but there is still the underlying question of why humans put so much effort into acquiring things and wealth. I did not feel that semblance got close to an answer on that.

in the event, what is the point of the 2nd screen (the one with the atm and banks)? I know you can grind darwinium there, but what role does it play in the story with semblance? I also don't quite get the purpose of the "transfer" mechanism.

The transfer option, other than giving you Darwinium when you load the Darwinium machine completely with all the currencies; it also helps you with getting a minute worth of currencies at once, so you can complete the quests. When is says "full" and you pull down the transfer lever, it gives you one minute worth of that currency. (Except for commodities, which has a bug as of now)

It doesn't play any role in the story with Semblance. It's just a visual feature, like the second screens of all other exploration events.

You'll be in beta, unless they release a public update. Basically you'll be in latest version available.
Usually whenever there's a Beta version to be tested, that version is the latest one available online and is meant only for beta testers. Once there's another update which is available for everyone, and you install it, you switch to that.

Hey Beta Testers, we have a new version to test for the upcoming History of Money event.

This BETA is only for Steam and iOS
( Android version unfortunately is stuck in google play review at the moment, I'm not sure how long this will take to get approved could be a day might be 7 days)

We updated the tree layout and the tuning has been changed quite a bit.

You will need to update the app to get the latest version. 14.26. For current Android testers enrolled in beta they you should try to update on our google play page. For steam players you should be good to go just join the "alpha_test" branch. iOS needs to be approved by apple but should be out later this afternoon.
