typically, you collect ideas and entropy to get more metabits, and the more metabits you have, you can then use those metabits to upgrade the main simulation (via the reality engine once you're done rebooting the simulation).

It involves planetary exploration and is a precursor to Beyond 2 which will come later next year (I think)
