I have an idea how the thing with the metabits might have happened: For a short time there was a Steam beta that didnt have the limmitation of nanobots to 12 (i think it was 20 instead) so i spend almost all my metabits on that (cost was double for every extra nanobot). After the next update my nanobots were down to 12 again and i got my metabits refunded to some extent. Maybe something went wrong there.

I think the key reason for Antimatter having so much to its mechanics and prestige system is cause it hardly needs to be prioritized towards anything graphical nor does it need the large amounts of research for a specific topic. Not saying it's bad cause of that, just pointing out that it's able to prioritize primarily on mechanics due to little to no requirements for the other aspects unlike C2S.

That is certainly true. I really appreciate the minimalist design on AD cause it focuses entirely on BIG numbers which is to some extend the ultimate goal of incrementals. But C2S too me is a really nice exception to this principle cause of the graphics and also the educational content.

Speaking of educational content: Did you and/or your team consider the usage of a system like Crowdin to provide high quality translations in many languages for C2S?

I don't think so. The only use metabits have is to upgrade the simulation. You can continue MV though, because after you complete rank 50, you can prestige, which will reset the MV, and start all over again. And you can do up to 10 prestiges.

Something completely irrelevant - are there gamer computers (or normal devices for that matter) whose cpus that can easily handle playing a single game alongside a browser w/o overheating or needing a loud fan for keeping at temps around ~30 - 40 C? Just something I'm genuinely curious about.

I have bought a Legion Y520 like 3 years ago. It didn't have Windows installed, however I installed it, but it wasn't optimized for my computer. I had to do minor tweaking, like setting a page file, optimizing DNS settings, and stuff like that. It is clearly not a gaming laptop, because it has a 1050 Ti and only 8 gigs of ram, which I really hate I have only 8. The CPU is really good, a 7th generation Intel i7, and it can withstand almost everything, the problem is the gpu. When playing genshin impact, the gpu goes up to 90 degrees which is totally not normal (not counting i have everything set to high). Also, it runs C2S on 60 fps (which is the cap for C2S, sadly), but, it heavily drops when mass buying upgrades with an autoclicker, which is the reason I couldn't manage to go lower than 47 seconds in my speedrun attempts. This laptop does everything perfect, although it's pretty crappy based on modern technology. If you are planning to buy a laptop, I would go for an Omen 15 (which is pretty expensive, take note of that), and if you are going for a desktop, the best choice is building a pc of your own (Clearly not in 2021-2022, because just look at the gpu prices, also, ssd's and dram is planned to rise in price sooner or later.)

In case you're unaware, all laptops make insane sounds when theyre running something resource heavy, because the system recognises heavy load and cranks up the fan to cool it down.

This is less noisy on desktops, well, because there's more space in there, and overall pretty much everyone puts their box under the table

The only thing I found that you could do is the opposite, use software to make the fan go jet engine sound.
