Assembly is... well, it's complicated too, but in different ways. It's easier to write performant code in C++ as compared to Assembly bc CPUs are insanely complex in the modern era
C++ is a huge complex mess, as stands to reason for a language which is old and yet is a generalist of a language, and has had lots of updates/evolution over the years
Assembly was easy back in the days of 8-bit computers.. and I hear the DEC VAX instruction set was designed to be especially easy for Assembly programming. The 68000 instruction set likewise (it's a derivation in some ways)
