My technique for that is to memorize the path and run up the tree manually. Make sure you have humans unlocked before you start idea tapping. Then once you buy your first stone age turn on nanobots with autobuy and run up the idea tree

It might take a couple repetitions (it took me 6) with that method but it should get you there
