I did a bit of testing, and it seems that the meta block size might increase as you reach certain milestones in the idea tree. For instance, my meta block size was at about 2e15 right after reaching Singularity for the first time, but then jumped up to 5e21 after I got Human Expedition (and my metabit gain slowed WAY DOWN!!)

Buying more human expeditions slows down the metabit gain even more (increases size of meta block size). I would like to know the math behind this.

Clicking for entropy causes my metabit gain to increase - clicking for ideas causes my metabit gain to DECREASE. Wow. So... I am wondering what happens if I ignore ideas as much as possible (after reaching Singularity) and just focus on entropy.....

Your (total) metabits = (Entropy + Ideas)^(1/3) / 10000 - 1
For me, that works out perfectly. Too bad that we can't see your "total ideas + entropy" in your screenshots, that would be important to include...
Maybe I haven't fully understood your issue... this means of course, that the "metabit block size" should always increase, never decrease... with the "small" changes from your video, it's probably just a rounding error in the background...
