I personally like the Steam version better - much faster, much more beautiful, more rich experience.... I save up all my darwinium on android, get all the "free" ad-supported boosts, save the game, and then occasionally transfer to Steam to play.

I'm not a big fan of the tiny screen

Also, since I save the game and "replay" it on Steam, I can spend my darwinium and not worry about it - the diamond geodes (or giant stars) HELP SO MUCH in speeding things up and making the game really fun! :)

anyways this is only possible on steam and its pretty useful

basically

C:\Users%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Computer Lunch\Cell to Singularity

you go there

and your save is located there

you basically export the save somewhere else

start the game

it creates a blank save

also you can copy your main save and put it back and you can mess with the game with various stuff you come up with that might harm the save and then when youre done put the save in another folder and call it differently so you can differentiate between them

i have 4 saves

beyond is for the beyond beta (if anything goes wrong)

main is, well, the main save

new is for my fresh lets play from 0

and speedrun is the place i try getting as fast as possible to singularity without ruining my main reset count

some annoyances when using this:
darwin codes dont get assigned for each save since they arent stored in these files
you cant rename the files themselves, since that would make the game not see the save files
it gets confusing after you have a lot of them stored since all the filenames are the same

it just allows you to spend the produced metabits and maybe get a small boost from total resource production

the reason its basically impossible to get that many metabits is that the cost of each metabit increases with the amount you have produced so far

and even getting to like 300T would take about half a year at max production
