It kind of depends on how fast you want to progress (and keep in mind it gets faster after each prestige). I usually do lvl 7 for the first levels and lvl 8 when I am >42 and things start to get slow.

Silver and gold traits you should always max, and get diamond geodes on lvl 50

I went from prestige 2 lvl 50 to prestige 3 lvl 50 in 3 weeks using that technique

I might try leveling up traits until lvl 9 next time adn see how that goes

My strategy for Mesozoic valley is buying the diamond geode at lvl 50 of course, but I only upgrade the gold and silver traits at lvl 50 so I can carry over my mutagen and upgrade all traits super easy and fast on the next prestige.

Doing it like this I can go up about 40 lvls in a day if I grind.

Of course in the meantime upgrade your highest traits first, but once you get to about lvl 8 on the lower traits it doesn’t matter much unless you have a bunch of mutagen to spare.

i heard someone say they couldnt stop cell to singularity, so what you have to do is go in task manager ( ctrl + alt + del ) scroll down to you see steam and then end progress
