@cedar orbit I can't upgrade them all, the new one shows up every 1-2 lvl. So I can upgrade them all to little, or upgrade one to max. I think second is more efficient. Also they have different primary stats

My advice is, don't overthink it, and go for the highest ones. Also, it might seem counterintuitive, but also consider buying traits using mutagen. It helps you progress through levels much quicker.

every 14 days is a shark

One shark unlocks every 14 days of logging into the game. Shark show up in the ocean garden view and eat your fish. This "fish hunt" is only visual and does not effect entropy production.

However, the new popup said I would increase my speed bonus for total mined from 363 to 1,398 and it only went to 398, so there's that.

So I've whaled a little and it's quite easy to prestige with my dinosaurs now... but it takes a LOT of time to claim and stuff. Isn't there a better way to claim 14-15 geode milestones to power through to the next extinction event? 😦

Yeah already doing that 😦

Unfortunately it still feels like 90%+ of the time I spend on the 50 levels needed to prestige is on Claim and Claim Geode UI switches and screen dismissals.
It's quite tedious 😦

I think I'm level 11 in all the gold upgrades and at least 10 in all the silver ones, so I only ever need a handful of dinosaurs to get the milestone requirements

When I get offline earnings, do they not count towards earning metabits? I got about 1 NO entropy and my metabits just went up by the usual 2 per second with no noticeable effect from the sum I collected overnight.

You can prestige after you reach rank 50, which there are 10 prestige levels. You keep your mutagen when you prestige and gain a rank for a card that boosts profit.
