Just finished a 14day empty-sim. Compared to 7 days and then idling, it's a gain of about 3x in metabits and knowledge in exchange for a 10x loss in XP. Given how much they nerfed the time crystals, I'm just going to let it idle for XP -- I'd have to do 10 empty sim runs in order to get the same metabits/knowledge I have left over from my last 21 day empty sim run.

I'm in same.position, and decided to idle for XP. Started this empty sim run at 77.0. after 21 days, when I bought my generators and did some shooting stars it took me to 78.5. After updating, a week later (collecting generators on the way) I'm at 78.8 with ~50 days to 79 if I don't buy any more.

I don't think letting it run until the next orange/purple update is the best thing to do unless you're end game (and even then, some people still prefer to continue doing empty sim runs - pre- or post- the time update).

If you didn't and you linked using Google Play it often has issues. Sometimes leaving it for a bit means it will eventually find your old save. Otherwise,you can contact Google Play help and ask them to.push the save to you(one person did this and it worked).

Here's an interesting fact about the Reality Engine, Reality Engine has a lot of nodes that help you progress faster and smoother to the game, there is a time chamber upgrade that'll help you get boosts for every second since you've that simulation... The Time Chamber is heavily tied and connected to the 14 days sim strat (which is not buying a single node (except the "Planet Earth" node) that will boost your simulation first before you start progressing (recommended for mid game). The Research Chips is used to boost the simulation speed from Entropy or Idea side (make sure this one is balanced) and the last one is the best way to boost your simulation using Darwiniums with prioritizing Modules at early game (I assume it was Research Level 1-39), prioritizing Darwinium Augmentation at mid game (40-50), and finally Darwinium Upgrades at almost end game (51-70)

Watching an ad when youn re-open the game to double your offline earnings.

Your offline earnings are less than your online earnings - I think it's the space-folding nodes that help with this (check out your stats page, near the bottom)

When you're offline, the game still runs and collects currency from your production like any idle incremental games did.. when you're back you can double your offline earnings and then enjoy your profits by ads or Darwiniums

I prioritised anything boosting metabits/knowledge over sim speed over general entropy/ideas over specific entropy/ideas.

Generally it was cheap Upgrades > Modules > expensive Upgrades. (augments are basically entropy/idea Upgrades with nice models).

If you're enjoying Beyond and are far enough through to have unlocked it, the 5th Astronomy mission slot is good.

please don't spend Darwiniums, trust me the badge reset was still not acceptable for me (it's a bug after the reality reboot) so first you should enter the event as soon as it began, then you want to progress as much as you can (ofc with the ×4 boost activated) and with the minimal 3 gens after the first hour... from there you could see that your progress is getting more clear and doesn't go slow... regarding of your rank on event leaderboard ofc

I see you have one research chip, you could use that to boost the idea production on Reality Engine especially on the Research Levels tab (the best method is to balance or almost balance the idea and entropy boost)

Anyway... you could reset/reboot your simulation to get prestige currencies known as Metabit () and Knowledge () to buy the Reality Engine nodes to boost your overall simulation speed or if you want to just focus on idea... then you can boost the idea part using knowledge

The ocean upgrade improved my entropy/s of 5.1%, and the entropy upgrade improved it by 3.6%. How is that possible ? Shouldn't upgrading entropy always be better than ocean, since it also upgrades ocean ? Shouldn't the entropy increase be exactly 5% ?

Nah. You're at the level where the Ocean update was released / takes effect. Each update boosts a specific thing and pushes it to the top. Otherwise it would have little effect.

Mostly no reason to refund. Unless you did weird things with your research chips or accidentally made purchases in the Reality Engine you didnt want to.

I've never done any refund on Reality Engine but it's more like a button to reset and refund your prestige currencies to rewrite your plan on spending those completely, so when you're making a wrong decision a long time ago that really affects the primary sim... you can rewrite that path to make sure you're 100% get all the boost you want

It refunds all the things in the RE that it can (not 'Next Level' nodes) and Research Chips

It has very little effect on what nodes you can buy (because of cost growth).

You can use it to reallocate Chips to e.g. max out entropy or knowledge. At the cost of destroying the production of the other one, and XP generation.

It depends. I went elementary -> middle -> high, but some have junior high instead of middle school, and some school districts only have elementary and high. It depends on where you go to school (at least in the US)

Let me tell you the 14 days sim strat, I know this is too early for you but once you can you have to do it... but first let me tell you about what really is Reality Engine because it is the core of the game, Reality Engine has a lot of nodes that help you progress faster and smoother to the game, there is a time chamber upgrade that'll help you get boosts for every second since you've that simulation... The Time Chamber is heavily tied and connected to the 14 days sim strat (which is not buying a single node (except the "Planet Earth" node) that will boost your simulation first before you start progressing (recommended for mid game). The Research Chips is used to boost the simulation speed from Entropy or Idea side (make sure this one is balanced) and the last one is the best way to boost your simulation using Darwiniums with prioritizing Modules at early game (I assume it was Research Level 1-39), prioritizing Darwinium Augmentation at mid game (40-50), and finally Darwinium Upgrades at almost end game (51-70)
