There was a bug a time ago. When you clicked the first badge of James Webb then you would get that badge. I also have one extra badge for James Webb for that reason.

If you restart the simulation you get some new currency you can upgrade your virtual supercomputer with that runs the game (The Reality Engine) This allows you to get further in game and earn more so you can buy things that are now out of reach.

1. Toggle "Buy rank", as spending stardust without ranking up is not effective.
2. You don't need to buy everything - especially if some of your generators are much better, but upgrade of low tier has the same cost.
3. Check for your generator's output and how much it could increase if a rank up is purchased. In my case, even though my mission is to get || Crab Nebula - yellow -|| which cost less than ||Eagle Nebula - green -||, I will first buy the latter.
4. Always try to get the latest space object to rank up to level 1 to get that automation going on.

• Phase 1: Scorpio, Gemini, Aquarius, Aries (in case you have additional fragments before phase 2)
• Phase 2: Eridanus, Canis Major, Perseus, Hercules, Ophiuchus
• If you have all of these, assemble Argo Navis for something special😉

Priority: The only ones that have any long term effects first - if unlocked.

Secondly: The constellation that boosts what you're on, or what you'll be moving on to

Thirdly: other constellations that will boost you in future and / or the ||Argos Navis|| set.

Anything else, if you feel like it for gotta-grt-em all reasons.

And only ever spend fragments when you can afford the whole thing. Partially completed constellations have no effect.

I'm pretty sure some people don't even know what it means for a constellation to have 'long term effects'—what it means for an effect to be a 'long term' one

look at the traits your most effective generators have and find that constellation. If you can fully afford it, buy it (unless you think you're moving on to generators that might be boosted by a new trait soon)
