id just generally upgrade cards as much as you can for your like two best current generators

Early levels give strong benefits for low cost, but upgrades become very expensive later while giving smaller improvements. most players keep useful dinosaurs around level 3–5 early, then 6–8 during mid progress, and only push a few important cards higher in late game. focus upgrades on dinosaurs that produce the most fossils, and when an upgrade starts costing too much mutagen, switch to another card instead afaik
for me I'd just upgrade the automate card correspond for a specific dinosaur until they make an active, consistent production and payout card until they make a good production to boost my overall fossil production

Time crystals cap out at 21d3h, Time chambers cap out at varying points, the last at about 10d. So.. it depends. What I do is do quick reboots to get the “easy”/cheap reality engine nodes, then when I’ve run out, do the empty sim runs. It would also be worth it to spend some extra effort if it means you can get more time nodes, before the run. Also, the info we have from beta suggests that they are greatly nerfing the time stuff in the next update, so do it while you can!

Always prefer metabit/knowledge before entropy/Idea.
But its not a big deal. The other one isnt bad either. U will get the other fast anyways.

And to simulation time vs entropy/Idea. Its basically the same. Take the bigger multiplier. Simulation time just affects both but the mults are usually way lower.

I personally don't see much benefit to the next update (If it's automation only). Am on Android, so I'll likely be not installing the update. Plenty of time for more empty sim runs. Yay.

Also, automation ||does not look anywhere near ready to me, from what I've seen in beta chat||.

steam does autoinstall updates (unless you go in offline mode which isnt much use) but i do agree that ||automation is a couple weeks away|| i just say ||2 weeks since its a decent time frame, and most stuff is possible in it||

The game doesn't autosave when you quit. It does so every day or so, but if you click "view" under crossplatform saves you can manually use "Upload to the Cloud"

It only hit home to me when I bought a module/augment or something and it hit me in the face that it didn't affect my current 'wealth'.

If its the automation only i see a point in just not installing the update but i hope the update makes the empty sim system a bit better/more interactive/reduce it to 7 days/make normal run more worth it. If its just a full nerf like e29 disaster, yeah, delaying an update is a good idea probably.

You start a run and buy no generators until your time crystals are maxed (about 21 days in game time).

This means that when you do buy things, the crystal multiplier applies to everything you earn. Which is ~1 million times more than not doing empty sim if you have both time crystals on both sides.

e29 is a complete snooze fest rn, they kinda overnerfed it. they can do a middleground for sure

anyone else having/ noticing issues with the dwarnim recharge thing being broken? like for example: i could collect 1 dwarnim and the counter was on 2 minutes left menaing: i could almost collect 2 dwarnim. but i collected the 1 dwarnim and when the recharge counter was on 0 i didnt get the second dwarnim and have to wait for 4 hours again, ive experienced this like 3 times now

Nope, I haven't noticed any issue. I suggest collecting it once it's full, it's 16 hours (if 4 or 8 DW) or 20 hours (5 or 10) for the full cycle.
