I never really liked the concept of the fills. They could have made things much simpler by having your entopy/ideas convert 1:1 over to reality engine currency at reset. Would be much simpler without all the converter efficiency upgrades. But maybe that would be too simple. I guess one part of the intigue of the reality engine is the complexity of it's workings and upgrade system.

But then everything will need to be rebalanced anyway.

I think comparing a 21 day empty sim run + a few hours of playtime (~21.2 days) vs a regular run of a few days (7 days) is a little unfair when looking at the disparity in reality engine currency because the time players have invested are different.

Comparing 1:1 if you waited 21 days on an empty sim and played 1 more day vs actively playing for 22 days I think the difference is a lot less, but still substantial. Though this isn't taking into account the "active" player rebooting and getting reality engine upgrades during the course of their playthrough which is a huge boost.

All this to say, I think the 21 day empty sim meta is much less pronounced when playing through new content but does matter for when you are done with content pushing further for a big reality engine node, which is why we are looking into potential fixes for this in the future.

Yep. Level 20 for generators. And for each trait card. Think that's the same in Beyond and Meso. Although the chance of anyone getting a max on Beyond traits legitimately is low (because card drops are low).

By a regular run, I am talking 10 minutes spent, not 7 days. So you know. And it is predecated on owning all Time nodes. Up to you and the other devs whether or not you consider it an issue, I'm just giving you a data point to work with. That's all.

Yes - what Sepheria said - unless it's changed you get a high percentage of your incomd in the first 10 mins of normal run compared to the rest of the time you spend in the run. ETA it still grows, but much slower.

So that's why when players ask about the meta we say if you've got stuff to buy spam-reboot. If you're end game do empty sim.

Make them more evenly consistent instead 90%+ of them happening in the first 10 minutes of your simulation.

I just did a test.

For a game with 0 days Vs 18 days, same update version, no difference in allocated research chips, research nodes, augments, modules etc. Buying stuff for about 15 mins once I started (maybe 5 mins of buying after getting through the tree).

Entropy/s: 18 days = 11 OoM x 0 days
Metabits: 18 days = 3 OoM x 0 days
Ideas/s: 18 days = 16 OoM x 0 days
Knowledge: 18 days = 7 OoM x 0 days

I have 6 idea and 5 entropy time Chambers as well as 2 knowledge and 1 metabits time Crystals.

OoM = Order of Magnitude

And 15 mins is pretty optimum for a normal run (I don't use auto clicker).

It's not very good. It's all up to you. How easy is it for you to obtain Darwinium cubes? There are better things to spend it on but if you have cubes lying around with no purpose then every upgrade is welcome ofc.

Well, easy? No, I'd say it just takes a lot of time, but I have like 200 Darwinium cubes, so that's why I asked in the first place, because it looks like a good upgrade, for me, atleast

You probably get more if you buy some diamond geodes (At (Prestige) level 50 only!!!) and grind Meso prestiges. The x1.80 from the module is not a big boost. I have them bought all but got much more cubes. If I had just 200 I would probably find something else to spend them to. I can't advice on what exactly because I bought most of my Darwinium upgrades a long time back when the game (and the working of the upgrades) were quite different.

Ah! You don't have a choice to do that or not.. when you update your game from that old version, it makes the change. If you're on Steam, it requires you to be at the current version. If you are on mobile, it won't... but you should, if you want to get any new content.

When you launch Cells on Steam, it auto-updates you to the latest version, and translates the old system to the new system.

Kappa provides boosts to entropy, knowledge and idea tap.
I think there's cheaper modules to get the equivalent entropy.
If you want to boost your knowledge, it's the only module option apart from iota.
I don't tap, so no idea if that's useful.

Personally, iota seemed far better than kappa. And I bought the cheaper modules first. But that might just be where I am in the game.
