Some people have had success with Google realising you want your file back by leaving the game open and waiting.

In future, Cross-platform saves is much better and more reliable in my opinion.

They just cant accept the superiority of scientific notation in every aspect.
We already got lots of discussions about it and apart from "i just like it more" there is no objectively upside to custom or normal.

Tldr: dont be a fool, use scientific notation

Unless you have your old phone and can get Cells working, I think you'll have to start again.

You could try DM'ing Cells Support with your cells user id and any screenshots of your progress. They might be able and willing to help 🤷.

Offensive ads

I don't think that's under control of Cells. I'm not totally sure how the ad ecosystem works, but it is based on user data at least in part.. Cells would be calling an ad API, and that underlying system is what feeds you the ads and gives CL their share of the ad revenue. As to the ad mix, it varies. I get adult-ads, I get gambling, I get crypto, I get a lot of (bad) mobile game ads.. and sometimes I get ads related to my city which I actually like since they tend to be VERY short. Kinda wish I would get tech ads which I'd also enjoy, but.. nope, almost never.

Also, I have noticed that the same ad tends to cluster within a very short space of time.. so if I get a 5 second ad when doing an ad boost or whatever, I'll keep spamming that ad boost, bc usually there are several of that same ad in a row.

Nope. Well, you could block ads, but then you won't get the ad boost. Up to you.

Actually there's one thing that might work, but would probably have undesirable side-effects: tell your phone/tablet that you are an underage user.. like 16 or so.

Oh, sure, Infinity Pass is the other way, for sure. If you don't mind paying the money, then it is the way to go. I share your feelings about ads in general, I use ad blockers etc on mobile as well as desktop. Besides, it's a malware vector on PC. I'm also very glad Steam doesn't allow it.

Fair, but you don't have to watch ads.. you won't get the benefit of the ad boost, but the game is still 100% playable without it, progress will just be slower is all. And, like has been mentioned, you can pay for Infinity Pass and avoid all ads while getting all benefit. Like any game: pay with money or pay by watching ads. Fortunately, we have the choice.

Primary will be expanded with the Mollusks section, and there will be a bunch of added nodes in the Reality Engine tree, and more stuff to get with Darwinium.

With like 1-2month Infinity pass you finish beyond and meso. After that the boosts are kinda wayne anyways.

congrats!! Now, upload your save to the Cells servers via the Save Manager, so you won't ever lose it again!

(you'll need to regularly do that, it's a manual process.. I find that's actually very convenient if you play Cells on multiple devices)

Hey guys I just reset to my 27th reset for the dinosaurs (I just unlocked T. rex the reset before) and some text came up and said something and I accidentally skipped past it, one of the text boxes said “thank you” I think, and also I THINK it also said “now you can” but I didn’t see what the rest said.

I know this is kind of a point of debate and there doesn't really seem to be an agreed-upon "good" way, but when it comes to late game research tree, I'm trying to figure out how to proceed best. I'm at research level 63, 51/68 entropy/idea bonus (started even split then kept focusing ideas). I'm reaching the point where my runs are taking multiple days and im not getting meaningful progress in the tree on either side. At this point is it more efficient to just alternate? Reset the tree, dump all chips in ideas, push a bit for more sim speed etc, then respec to entropy and do the same, repeat? Or am I missing something here? (or is it just straight up slow here)

If you have all the time-related nodes, then you might want to do an empty sin run for about 21 game days. The benefit should be roughly 10 million times what a quick run of about 10 minutes will give.

its real time, simulation speed doesnt boost it. there is a bug tho, that speeds it a up during the time you are in a side sim

sim speed is basically just a multiplier to entropy and ideas at the same time.

cheese isn’t a good example, it’s newer and the “flow” isn’t fun, so I never bother with Top 10 for it.. but once you have some badge bonuses from previous runs, and have the 4x ad boost or infinity pass, then it’s easy to get Top 10 whenever you want

Leveling in the game does slow down as you get higher. The cap at the moment is about 73. You'll get there soon enough and then have nothing to do like some of us 😄

You get more silver and gold cards and the prestige card levels up

The normal dino cards reset, so you just fish for the rare ones and save mutagen on the way

The last ones you can probably do in a day

yeah they made the later mars stuff harder to get after the reality reboot, prob just for balance reasons

They did a fair bit of rebalancing, and some of that is that getting to Mars terrafotlrming takes a while the first few times.

Fwiw, they also changed the number of things you need to get the achievements too. You used to get the max one at 500 primary tree generators, now it's 1000. But if you had them before, you kept them.

Mentioning this so you realise that while the number of generators you have is lower now, it's not as much lower as you might think.

Good question. Since there's an indication that they may have reverted the Meso Prestige change (so, the Reality Engine may now give the benefit of all 550 meso levels), and since Mollusks could be as soon as tomorrow, I would wait and do it immediately after Mollusks launches.

Yeah but in the end metabit/knowledge is the important one.
There are also really big entropy/Idea mutlipliers in the engine that a smoll 2x is wayne.
For example im missing most sim speed logits multipliers and 2 sharks.

But that did not slow me down in the slightest

Base Europe price is cheaper, but after you add tax, it usually isn't. US = 80 USD. EU = 90€ -> 75.60 USD * 1.19 (VAT) = 90 USD. However, you add anywhere from 0% to 11.2% to the US price depending on where in the US you live.
