Benefit of the "buy nothing" strategy. There is no income so when you start up the game there is no pop-up for the primary sim asking if you want to watch an ad.

"More". Simply that, bc of a quirk of how Cells handles things. Not sure if it qualifies as a bug or an intended feature, but either way, as long as you have the Time-related nodes in the Reality Engine unlocked, it seems to be the way to go, based on what others have said, and what I've been seeing on testing. Congrats on 73 🙂

.. and, it's certainly less hassle than running an autoclicker 24/7 while keeping the 4x ad boost up

Any of the ones that have the "clock" logo on them. There's 8 on the knowledge side, and 6 on the metabits side.

You will want all of them.

Oh, and in primary, you want the first node or two, but NOT any generators. None.

The key bit here is that the time nodes in reality engine will increase as time advances.. when you finally reboot a week or whatever later, those increases will apply to the generators when you fill Primary out.. and not before.

The Chambers cap at 10 days but the Crystals cap at 21 days and those seem to be much more important for this method.

You have to buy Eukaryotic Cell in order to buy Cytoplasm which unlocks daily mutations. But if you do that you already own 4 generators and you start getting a ton of fills.

Turns out you dont need Cytoplasm for the daily. So ive bought nothing and gotten zero fills

True that you don't get XP. But that doesn't seem a massive issue, given the gains to RE nodes. We're doing this for the first/second time (ish). The more we do it, the more OP our REs get, compared to our primary sims. And pretty easy to get to the end of the primary sim after an update anyway.

Fair. I kindof expect after my current empty Sim run to get all the nodes, at which point, I would reboot, buy and then silent I guess to get up to the previous point, then go active? I think that makes sense?

Makes sense. But going active isn't necessary - you're not unlocking more primary. But even those who are unlocking primary will find it a lot quicker with a strong RE.
