I did, it's a page on this spreadsheet, make a copy for yourself and it should help. Ad bonuses help of course but generally only one to three of your producers matter and it's rarely the newest one. Which is actually the case most of the time in this game but the spreadsheet makes it easier to see that.

I can calculate whether to buy generators or wait for an upgrade but then the next upgrade becomes a function of how initial U, the exact times you bought things, how many generators you had before the upgrade, how many and at what time you bought them after the upgrade, what amount of time you're giving it, what your target U is.

If you can work something out then I'll be very impressed, I hit the math wall at differential equations and switched majors 🤣.

But with how sensitive it all seems, I'm probably going to keep playing based on what I can do in the moment to hit the next milestone as fast as possible.

No, Idea Speed Booster V and Idea Booster IX XI reach increments that cost more than GE, the same thing happened with Metabits as well. Idk how high they'll reach exactly, but even if we assume a modest 10% multiplier, the last 10 increments or so will each cost more than GE does.. and that's for ISB IV, since IB IX XI ramps up faster. (EDIT: Fixed typo)

The rest are inconsequential almost, though you do want to grab whatever is there (set to Max) since there's node(s) in RE tree which are based on the total number of stuff bought in Primary (no matter what it is)

Top whatever totally doesn't matter.. I mean, it's a "nice to have", but there's nodes in Reality Engine that are based on the total number of badges you have. Each event gives you 3 (with one minor exception), and over time, they sure add up!! Max rn is like 750ish

Easy to check though: make backup on cross-platform save, do it, then download your backup if you don't like the outcome.

No, I did not have it. But I made the reset today and got the Unified Theory, Reality Nexus and all the Ancient/Modern/Future mastery upgrades. Time nodes got killed and earnings suffer a bit now. But not very much. I'll be back to where I was in 2 to 3 days I think and from then it is profit and I can rebuild my time nodes on my journey towards the Graviton Expansion.

Either spam reboot or wait several days-weeks. The first few days after reboot are much slower progress, you catch up later (this assumes you have all 6 idea time chambers and both knowledge time chambers)

Also this applies if you need knowledge to progress. If you need metabits, you pretty much have to spam reboot, the scaling seems pretty poor.

I see no benefit to restarting, it just means you have to repeat things. Depending on how much you've played, it won't matter much, so I wouldn't worry about it.

If you don't want to do that, then chilling while the time nodes build up is definitely an option.

I don't understand what you mean. Do you mean reboot (buy or not), wait 10 days, reboot (buy nothing), wait ten days? I'm sure that buying out the (metabit/knowlege) boosts would give you more metabits/knowledge. It doesn't affect the fill rate or amount of the fill, but increases the metabits/knowledge you get per fill. Other than being able to buy new nodes from game updates w/o rebooting (which definitely can be worth it). I suspect buying out always gives you more than not buying out.

in general, ignore x/100 upgrades, they should have last priority for you. Spend on them only if you dont have anything better.
Get any converter upgrade you get(very important for metabit generation) and then particular upgrades like primordial. Primordial becomes main income when you upgrade it to level 6

Spam-rebooting (every 5-10 mins) can be a really quick way of progressing. Especially if you've got lots of stuff to buy.

If you don't want to do that, then chilling while the time nodes build up is definitely an option.

Make sure you understand where your metabits/knowledge is coming from (use the stats page in the RE).

Yes, I am a big fan of Win 7 as well, I was unhappy that we were forced to go to 10, I don't like 10's aesthetic. Win 10 LTSC is ok as far as it goes, but some games won't run on it, so that's not an option for me. Linux has it's own different issues, I am keeping an eye on it, but for the time being, Win 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 is a good choice, and probably even better if you select EU localization. Also, you can uninstall Edge, you can't do that in the US, if you just use Home or Pro.

Right, some games want a more recent version of 10 than Win 10 LTSC is. Idk how many, but I have run into it before. I don't think it has to do with Kernel-Level Anti-Cheat though. .. Yes, Valve has done great work with Steam OS, but it is ongoing, and performance does suffer, there's other issues with Linux at present, I am skilled at fixing Windows issues, I am not with Linux, so that is a factor for me. Yes, the new UI is annoying but that is why I am staying on Win 10 Pro for now... eventually we will be forced to go to 11 bc hardware driver support on new CPUs probably.
