Nope. Because you buy the bulk of your generators quickly, then it's just eking them out a few (relatively) at a time. Those nodes benefit spam-rebooting imo. (Not checked, but gut feeling).

Re diamond geodes it used to be important because doing all the prestiges (what happens after level ||50||) in Meso massively boosted your primary sim. That isn't the case anymore. You will get more rewards, the higher level you cash the geodes in at. But if you're not going to continue Meso after level ||50||, then it's a bit of a waste waiting till then. Atm I'd recommend using geodes when it feels slow.

Beyond, when it feels slow, especially if you've just unlocked a new trait (including gold or silver ones).

I don't mind (and quite like) the game getting harder (slower). I don't like mindless clicking.

Me? Got to RL62 ~3 weeks ago, haven't rebooted since, kept my ad boosts up. There are other ways though: spam-rebooting a lot more before stopping would get you more I imagine.

People showed as level 0 for me for a while, it's still weird. One friend shows as level 71 in the list, but 0 (Beta) if I click on them. 8 people show as -.
Spam rebooting is definitely the current dominant strategy because so much metabits/knowledge comes in the first 5-10 minutes. For me 8 hours idle is about 1.5x what I have 10 minutes after reboot.

Heh yes, Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 were excellent! ToB was an expansion for BG2, that really takes me back (25 years). I should replay that series.. I still have the AD&D ruleset embedded into my brain, so no worries 🙂 BG3 is a bit different, very highly regarded, and uses the D&D 5e ruleset, I think? Not quite isometric in the same sense but.. worth checking out for those that like the first two (or Icewind Dale 1+2) and and have a relatively modern PC

I think that - as the Devs know most people really disliked Meso - they have deliberately nerfed its effect.

There's more buffs for events, which make sense from a Dev perspective in terms of what to encourage people to play.

Feel free to report it as a bug though!

I concur with Kf, avoid browser (it’s unstable), and only use the save manager within the game to do cloud saves, use that as your official save. I move back and forth between iPad and Steam versions of the game often, this way, no problem.

I would be surprised if 1% of the players at this point had Quantum Slipstream and 0.1% of the players had Quark Expansion. I was top ~2000 pre-reboot, have over 700 badges and am still ~1week out from getting Quark Expansion. Most players are super casual. I remember noticing this in Steam achievements where only 70% of players had the "opened the game" achievement. And that was on games where you had to pay for them.

There's an underpinning diminishing returns formula that initially is counteracted by the Time Chamber nodes growing. As they cap out, the diminishing returns bite bad.

There are 6 Time Chamber nodes in the Reality Engine (3 for entropy, 3 for ideas), but they don't have different cameras...

The 6 Time Chamber Nodes grow over time since last upgrade, until each caps out a multiplier of x100 at 7d, 14d, and 21d respectively.

You can see their effect specifically in the stats tab of the reality engine.
