(you can be last place and you will still get the badges.. and they add up for progress in Primary and RE)

Hello, can someone enlighten me about the event? How do u get placed in division? What determines that? And the higher( lower number) division means, there players in them are more active? Have more badges or u get put into division purely on the time u start the event? Also what is CL?

Division is placed in order of when you first start generating in-event currency (as far as we know). Divisions are 1000 people, and when it fills up, the next Division is opened. There's usually around 200. Division 666 is a special case, where detected bots or cheaters are permanently put. CL = Challenge Level. The first time you start, you are in CL1 and that's where you get the badges. CL2 and higher don't get any more rewards, they just give science which adds to the total you have that determines ranking (and thus bonus goodies) when the event ends

Speaking of active players, I can give some advice.
If you have the badges, Darwinium, etc to get a lot of speed, then it might be a good idea to join the event later.
Joining later means that, while you do have less time, you also have less competition because you’ll be competing against stragglers-and not many of them. So you won’t need to try as hard.
Though like I said, only do this if you have the badges and/or Darwinium for it. Correct me if I’m wrong, but judging by your message, this is your first, or one of your first events. So I suspect you won’t have the badges. Darwinium…I dunno how much you have, but it’s not actually mandatory to do that joining-late-and-getting-a-high-ranking thing.

Only lack the halloween event, which simply cant do right now and cheese, power of image and the solo badge( dont know the name). And now will be the cheese event and next one is power of image, so will get them too. 3 constellations and 4 dinos. ( Posted pics in #🏆-share-your-prestige )

Also, ye... I figured the late joining out also, i think, i will stick with that, although, im opening the game quite often, im not spending cubes on time lapses, etc. So its still very hard to obtain a lot of science points.

The Halloween event is is often called ||dodos|| and gets you a ||secret achievement||. It's run for the last 3 years.

The mini-event (just one badge) is called ||Face Your Fears||, or commonly ||Cryptids|| and confusingly first came out last Halloween (ran twice), then was run again in May this year.

And yeah, I find that opening the game often and doing upgrades is far more effective than spending Darwinium.

Well I accidentally started the last event CL3 'cos I woke up at silly'o'clock. Only slipped to 9th while I was at work (luckily), so another BH to add to my stash 😁.

Now - just like Jedao, time for my time off cells for a few days. Except for collecting the free stuff ... Cos I will never have as much Darwinium as I want to have, lol.

It's not a bad guide. I got away with upgrading fewer traits, but I wasn't in a rush and had diamond geodes.

On my prestige 10 I got to giga with all other dinos being 6 or fewer. And haven't knowingly bought more. I was in a bit of a rush for that prestige cos the end was in sight 😁. My golds were level ||13-17|| and my silvers ||10-15||.

Also, don't forget about the volcano card (if you've got it yet).

I found the shop manipulation part of the guide quite handy to get to the last achievement quickly.

Not an issue. The first run is quite low on mutagen generation cos of relatively few golds/silvers.

Collecting Darwinium makes it a bit quicker, but ...

It depends where you are in the game. I'm gonna assume you're quite early, so lots of Beyond and Meso to unlock.

I 'd use them on the Blue stars (or ||Black Holes|| if you have access to them) and diamond geodes if Beyond and Meso sims are feeling slow.

Diamond Geodes: You will get much better returns for diamond geodes (the cards you get and how many) if you're at higher levels (within each prestige), so 48 to 50, rather than 10 say. But it's a sliding scale, and they're super useful to help you get to higher levels.

Beyond: you'll get better cards from Blue Stars etc the more episodes you complete, and different cards depending on your progress. But still useful to speed up your progress at any point.

If you don't watch or are not able to see ads (e.g. steam) you might want spend Darwinium in events to get the 4x boost. Or in a pinch the time warp thing to get you a better prize. I don't think Darwinium is sustainable for Events though?.

There are some things in the Augmentation Console to buy with Darwinium. I don't think they have much game effect (but could be VERY wrong), so it's whatever takes your fancy, as and when. Although it's probably good to have got the things to do with the primary sim gardens before the Halloween event (assuming it's running this year). And there's various achievements associated with some of them.

well first of all you can upgrade reality engine and also you always get a speed bonus for the next run. how big the speed bonus is depends on how much more production you made than in the previous run

I haven't set up my records to look at that specifically (I just use it to eyeball when I need to start by to get all badges). And I didn't start keeping info for ~6 months (until I realised I did want to know that info).

You have to use the save manager to make sure your cloud save us up to date, then load that file into your other device.

There’s this this called the “Save Manager” in the menu. It’ll provide instructions, but the long and short of it is that it’ll allow you to share an account between different devices-so if you’re playing on Steam, you’ll be able to access our account on mobile, and vice-versa. Sorta like how OneDrive works with allowing you to access and save work using different devices.
As for the second bit: I hear (and believe) that the mobile version of Cells is better for playing than the Steam version. I can’t remember all the reasons why, but one of them is that to get a boost, you only need to watch an ad per boost-compared to Steam, where you have to shell out 2 Darwinium per boost.
Not sure about web, but it’s probably similar to Steam.

The thing is, the more badges you accumulate for an event, the faster it goes, and so the more likely you will be to get Top 10.. and even if you don’t a particular time, every badge increases the speed of Primary.. and that adds up surprisingly fast.. 4 months gets you +102% there, and a lot more on the events you do.

ofc do the ad boost (for the x4 on mobile) or shell out for infinity if you are on PC.. or, just wait, and the badges will get it done eventually.

Oh no, I just realized that even though I'm sure the data on my previous device and my current device are synced with the same account, the badges don't match.
I definitely had the badge for the picture event on my previous device, but it's not on my current device.
Conversely, the badge for the cheese event that I cleared on my current device is not on my previous device.

I would guess, probably not. The game doesn’t automatically sync progress to the cloud, you have to upload (or download) saves manually. Given that, I think you’ll need to pick a specific save and go with it.

It is likely that a large numbers of people will open the game and collect / play a bit more in the last few hours of an event.

If you're not able to do that, you will drop. How many you drop will depend on how many people are playing, which can be significant but ultimately down to luck.

Having said that, I can easily start from scratch in most events and finish them in 6h (using ads, and with badge boost) so your 'competition' could easily be making gains of about that level. Some of them anyway.

Logit store has a max, and getting enough seems daunting at first. But once you buy everything, there’s nothing left to spend those logits on, and you gain them unchecked. And if you’re a consistently top 10 performer, then those 50 logits per event plus the logits you get from task completion and daily calendar add up. Especially now that we have an event every 3.5 days.

I don't remember the details, but it's something like they hard coded in that it can only deal with say 1e128 and that's limiting their options with upgrades. But that limit is self-inflicted, not a limitation of the os's and devices.

It's a translation thing I think. The computer interprets a bunch of 0s and 1s in a certain way.

One way to put it, and what I would want, is the option to live as long as I want.. until I don't, at which point, I would want an easy way out.
