do the cards in mesozoic have a level cap and is it worth upgrading the early ones? I have the very early dinosaur cards all level 6 or 7 and am unsure if its worth leveling them further

The level cap is 20, but you’ll need an UNGODLY amount of Mutagen for that.
As for the early ones, you should generally ignore them once you get to the later stages, and then ignore those ones once you reach the even later stages (and so on), but it might be worth coming back to them every now and then to make every extinction restart go by faster.

6 or 7 is generally alright. 9 or 10 is pretty damn awesome (but harder).

Basically, yes. Unless you want to-like I said, every now and then you might wanna upgrade the earlier ones to make each extinction easier.

Eventually you'll be ignoring the rex itself in favour of the higher-ranked dinosaurs.

A while ago someone did some maths.

Assuming you're on Beyond stage 2; I think it was constellation missions are only worth doing if you haven't got the thing that sets all your red dwarf missions to 6h max. Otherwise to maximise fragments, do 2x white dwarf and 3 x red dwarf.

Was something like:
CF mission
1 CF = 90%
2 CF = 9%
3 CF = 1 %
dwarf missions ??? (But wasn't capped at 3)

Think it relied on being able to do dwarf missions much faster.

And there are 2x19 of them. And the golds/silvers. So ...25 years-ish for all Meso traits ... Could be worse... Could be beyond.

The episode is the number in the box that you click to open up Beyond.

You can open blue stars whenever you want. But I'd open them if the game is starting to feel slow and if what you'll get might help you.

From the wiki: Always contains 6 Rare cards, 2 Epic cards, and 3 Constellation Fragments.

And bear in mind that at episode 18 you'll enter stage 2, with new stars available that you'll want from then on.

Robust's right, but I would add that if you're finding Meso tedious and speeding it up would help you enjoy it (or at least tolerate it) and you have Darwinium available then buying / opening a diamond geode before level 50 isn't the worst thing you could do.

(but do try and make sure you have Darwinium to get one at level 50, 'cos it will really help. The codes in the Semblance channel / codes will help, along with various ways to get Darwinium in game (much easier if you're on Android /iOS).

Wondering what you'd suggest? There are 17 normal events and broadly speaking each individual event is run every 17th slot.

There are differences, like when an event is new it is run twice in quick succession. This makes sense to me, especially if they are in the different slots (different days/times are better for some people).

• Ideas: The second currency. When you unlock ||humans|| and shit, it’ll be ideas that will be your currency.
• ||Metabits: Won’t come into effect until you reach the Singularity for the first time. After doing that, regular gameplay and shit will unlock them. Though you’ll need to reset again and again to use them.||

Darwinium? Well, there’s a lot you could use it on.

• Boosts
• Speeding up the ||Nanobots|| (eventually)
• Time warps
• Other stuff in the other gardens
• Certain stuff for the gardens

I hear that the Darwinium-required stuff in the gardens might be worth it, but don’t quote me on that. We have a general guide for what to purchase in the logit store (logits are a different currency I forgot to mention), but I don’t think it covers the Darwinium-related stuff.

Oh yeah, logits:

Logits are a currency you earn in events. You can get up to 50 by completing all the objectives in events, and depending on your ending position in said events, you can earn an additional 5-50 logits.
Logits are the main currency of the logit store (hence the name). Some of that shit be really expensive tho-this ||set of stars in the Beyond|| is the most expensive thing, cost 300 logits.

On my device it seems to do a local backup once a day. I've never needed to use it: my game file has always been fine.

I occasionally do a cross-platform save (maybe once a month?). Have only ever used that when I am actually porting my game over to another device (but would be useful if I lost the device / app / local saves).

So, yes - if you want to make sure you don't lose your game.

Don't know how you lost your progress though, and if that might affect it.

I wish they'd add another 10 prestige levels to the dinosaurs, even if it went up at a higher rate. Right now there's no point in going in there, so I do every 6 months more out of habit. The rewards from the events for them are also wasted.
