1. there are currently no plans to use RP as a currency, right? You cannot "buy" an upgrade level if you accumulate enough RP (it looks like you gain tier levels automatically, nothing for a player to interact with)? They are purely for rating on a leaderboard?

2. How do I see the map of RP tiers and levels in-game? For example, I can see by clicking on my player name that I have Visionary 2, and I can see that there are a few more things I can upgrade to get to whatever is next - how do I see what is next? How do I determine what it takes to get to another tier?

Yeah, appimage has a few problems, they are supported on all distros and they're not universal, they use some system packages which can cause things to break

You can ship using flatpak, as generally it doesn't have many of the same problems, though some things don'r work propery through flatpaks, though in reality for a game, it doesn't really matter

You can also ship the game using steam, as steam supports native linux builds as well

The thing with supporting linux is you're never going to have a "native" package, native only meaning that the package is made for that version of linux in particular, Linux though all distros have some similarities, they do have a lot of differances, older or newer packages, Xorg or Wayland, Kernel version, etc

That's why if you want a linux build you need to build against steam or flatpak as they give your app a way of staying compatiable as they just let you use either the same API or whatever packages you wanted to, Steam will just run everything through an Ubuntu run time, and flatpak uses its own

Sometimes appimage makes more sense
