I understand that metabit tuning is needed, in order to prevent old players from progressing way too fast in whatever new content gets introduced, but I think that they shouldn't have nerfed metabit generation so soon. I started playing about two weeks ago and I've been stuck between 1e9 and 2e9 metabits for a week at this point, desperately trying to get enough metabits for the 2e9 speed upgrade. I'm sure that every new player is completely stuck at some point in the early part of the primary simulation and for all we know, it might take them months to finish with the metabit tuning. Until then, the only sensible simulation to progress in is Meso, since beyond also becomes painfuly slow from R6-7. That's kind of bad since Meso is only 1/3 of the game, without counting events, so I really do hope they fix the situation in the very near future.

This is the situation that new players are currently in and if the developers could provide us with at least an estimated date for the metabit tuning patch, that would give us some consolation.
