Yes, you do start again, but this time with the upgrades that you purchased from the Reality Engine, you will find that your simulation runs a lot faster, so starting again will not be a problem for you. Restarting a simulation happens a lot in the game, it isn't something to be concerned about, but rather, to look forward to.

With some help from completing the Price of Trust event, I had sufficient Logits to be able to unlock the 🌋 Volcano artefact. What do I do now to be able to get it going?

I have purchased a couple of other artefacts with Logits previously, including the 🦍 Gorilla, and once purchased from the store I had to enable it in the tech tree. I don't see where I can do this for the 🌋 Volcano. What do I need to do, if anything, to start getting that sweet 1.5× multiplier for all dinosaurs in the Mesozoic Valley sim?

Okay gonna unload my thoughts on civ garden 2 in one big message instead of lots of little ones

The civ garden 2 update will include the following as far as I predict/know: a complete revamp of the civ tree with new nodes and changes to existing nodes, astronomy tree connected to the beyond like the mezo, more metabit upgrades, further space colonization, a huge revamp of the civ gardens with hopefully gardens for all 6 generators that don't have them. There will definitely be more changes than this however these are the major changes I predict, hopefully the devs surpass our expectations and we're left amazed.

Thinking further on this, it seems that the marketing ploy here is that we need to use Darwinium to buy theDiamond Geodes, and there are regular specials offered for the purchase of that Darwinium, so they can be purchased at any time without losing value. The marketing team will no doubt be hoping that we spend all of our purchased Darwinium before we get to Rank (as they are so darned easy to waste!) and will therefore need to "top up" again before obtaining theDiamond Geodes.

Was there a nerf to metabits production rate? I've got 3.03e15 of them, am producing 1e50 life & 7e43 ideas/s, but I'm only getting 3.5e6 metabits/s, which effectively means I'll never improve my main simulation again as it would take 100 days to get a 1% improvement. It used to be that when I reset every few months my overall multiplier would go up by 1.2-1.5x.

In many online games that I have played which have a public RESTful API, players can access (read-only) their own game stats, public leaderboards, and even some game resources such as textual and image assets for items.

At one stage using such a RESTful API I was even able to detect a cartel of cheaters, by keeping a close watch on the public leaderboards and detecting a trend.

I'm just more interested in tracking my own in-game progress though, using a spreadsheet which gets automatically updated directly from the game's back-end, using JSON via a RESTful API.

Cost: Mesozoic Valley 2 prestige 2 rank, 350 Qa Entropy (need to research: Warm Blooded, Reptile)

Description: Synapsids are one of the two major groups of animals that evolved from basal amniotes, the other being the sauropsids, the group that includes reptiles and birds. The group includes mammals and every animal more closely related to mammals than to sauropsids. Unlike other amniotes, synapsids have a single temporal fenestra, an opening low in the skull roof behind each eye orbit, leaving a bony arch beneath each; this accounts for their name. The distinctive temporal fenestra developed about 318 million years ago during the Late Carboniferous period, when synapsids and sauropsids diverged, but was subsequently merged with the orbit in early mammals.

I'd say a couple of things: a) you could/should save some darwinium for future prestiges, and b) you could use some to open supergiant stars in the beyond (apparently every 5th rank is the most efficient). Since you have so much though, opening 2-3 diamond geodes now wouldn't be bad, and you can open as many as you want.
Btw, the logits will eventually come flowing and some people even beg for the option to turn logits into darwinium, so I wouldn't worry about them. I know the feeling though.

That sounds like amazing fun! However, I would caution you - when you get up near the end and you want to go after 200 gigantasaurs, you will be hurting for mutagens, not diamond geodes. The gold plated cards you get out of diamond geodes will certainly help a lot, but you will still find yourself running out of mutagen before cards.

If you want to spreadsheet it out, semblance has some nice math tools to help with that. And I think jojo and a couple others worked hard on the maths as well.

Afterwards, getting roles can be found by opening this server's dropdown and then opening Linked Roles, if you meet the requirements, it'll allow you to confirm the role you chose, if not, it won't let you get the role, and no, the url it'll allow you to open in there to re-authorize will not work as the url requires special credential credentials that can only be added when done through the game

Why don't you save the game on Cloud and then once you install the game in the new phone, download the save from the cloud to the new phone?

How do I get Semblance to track my in-game progress? I have the linked roles, but it doesn't show beyond rank/meso rank/metabits/speedrun time/secret achievements. I don't know where in the progress this would be enabled.

I think during the update it also dropped my metabits off a cliff- about 300 T to 37.30 T. I know the drop is intended, but I didn't expect it to be this hard.

Sweet! I see that they are bringing back the Fungi event again soon. I apparently get a 5% production increase in it this time, as I unlocked one of the badges for it the last time it came around. I had only just started playing C2S the last time that the Fungus Among Us explore event was happening, so I only caught the tail end of it. The main actually becomes "completed" fairly quickly, so if you have all reality engine nodes, you're probably done (almost all nodes excluding sharks, artifacts, and meso unlocks)

Can we "conjecturize" further about the nature of the Terminus Chamber itself? It seems to be some sort of museum or repository, with specimens from the important milestones taken from the various simulations and encased in glass for display or further analysis. Visually there seems to be some sort of tether, cable, or umbilicus linking most of them together, with no obvious purpose for such a link other than perhaps the stability of the whole. The Null Nodes have not been linked at present and appear to be independent. The whole seems to be floating, with no obvious stand or mounting, which could indicate that it exists only as a hologram or other such artificial construct of the Semblance AI.
