Go for the dino tasks, generally ignore the last fossil task because it's gonna be more efficient to continue progressing than sink in the inordinate amount of time required for one single stone geode

The easiest way I found was to manually work your way up the entropy tree until you get to humans, then switch to the idea tree. After you unlock stone age set nanobots to autobuy and work your way up the idea tree

I suggest you use the bots in the beginning; also not rely on it completely.
And, don't buy all the traits; that takes up a lot of time. Only buy the traits that'll open up new generators - You can know this by keeping an eye on the generators counr. Everytime a new generator open up, buy it and then come back to the traits tab to unlock some more generators. You'll have to be fast in switching between the generators tab and the traits tab.

Beyond and meso provide a negligible contribution to main simulation speed. What you should do is only buy sim speed upgrades in the reality engine and glitches until everything else is cheap enough where it doesn't affect your total

Not worth it. Instead watch ads to quadruple your generation rate. Open the game, buy some stuff. Quit the game. Open after some time and double the amount generated in that time.
This way you can basically get 8X the normal generation rate.
Keep repeating this step again and again.
Buy the time flux, ONLY if you've got the whole event to be completed in less than two days time.
