1st battle in open test and a team mate drives around the corner and gets obliterated and I can't type fast enough. NO HOLD POSITION! 🙄 I've been paying attention and today, THREE times, Hold Position has saved me or a teammate in randoms on the main server. We need this back.

Suggestion:

• Get rid of Driving to Base F, which is not used
• Change "Moving To" to "Attn To" (attention to) because players will end up using it as "look here"
• Add Hold Position back in

Remember in any battle, game or otherwise, communications need attack/advance, hold, and retreat commands.

This suggestions doesn't take away a needed command, gets rid of one not being used, and adds useful functionality to the game. Win, win, win.

yeah, i think they buffed the camo recently... i know at one point the jgpze100 had better camo, but camo is still meh. just give grille 640 alpha and like 7 degrees of gun depression with ~3k dpm. that would make the tank a bit more enjoyable. imo they should have nerfed the dispersion slightly for better shell velocity as well.

also, obj 140 seems absolutely insane with over 3.8k dpm. I can imagine a platoon of skilled players absolutely obliterating med side of map everytime. Same goes with stb and leo 1

After checking most tier X i have, some of the worst changes are: WZ-111-5A. Losing 52mm of turret armour and 23mm of hull armor is a bad thing. The hull armor was alreday thin, no need to make it worse, turret armor already had a weakspot with that big cupola on top, not to mention it doesn't have great gun depression, more than most chinese tanks but nothing wow, and losing 20 dmg per shot is another bad idea, its a 130mm gun not 120 or 122, leave WZ alone.
WZ-113, the changes are visible, and not in the good way, low rolls are annoying and losing 20 dmg hurts its dpm, and like Super Conq, Obj 260 and T110e5, its just another boring 120mm gun with 400 alpha, and speaking of it, the HE pen nerf on Super Conq was uncalled, it was good enough the way it was.
Foch 155 is RNG dependant especially if u have the autoloader gun, the 400 dmg lowrolls are a pain, the accuracy isn't wow and changing the main shell type from AP to APCR, well, i don't see the reason of this change. There isn't anything wos about Foch, it has no gun depression, the armour seems strong until you load premium shells or remember to shot that cupola and sure, its fast, but you are turretless so if you are tracked you're in trouble, it only has average HP, you can't snipe bcuz the dispersion will mess with your shots and you can't play too aggressive becuz of weak sides, and you have to take into consideration whether you have good teammates or not.
Grille 15 it was way better when it had 640 alpha, at least it had and advantage, now is just meh, it doesn't have any camo, you are spotted the moment you fire, lowest HP in tier 10, if a AMX 50b or a FV 4005 uses HE you'll die in one clip, no gun depression, a turret that can't fully rotate, with 580 alpha sure it has good dpm but again, you depend on RNG and with most of the tier x teams being bad, you'll lose many battles in Grille.

On Windows it's like the mouse gain got changed for 10.3. Yesterday I ran both Windows Store version and OT side by side and made sure the mouse settings are the same. I ran the same map and the same tank. The OT version is over driven and "twitchy" compared to the smoother WS version. It's not the end of the world, I can tune the gain if they changed it, but the difference was quite noticeable to me.

Bug in the Windows UI - Clans

When trying to create a clan, the avatar selector doesn't really work. I tried to move 3 icons the first time, and just 1 icon over the 2nd time. It is extremely laggy and then just rolls forever. Nearly impossible to use.

2 bugs in Clan Description were fixed between 10.3 and 10.4, BUT ONE PROBLEM REMAINS.

• Fixed: Shift-Enter now inserts a carriage return in the clan description ✅

• Bug: Users still cannot scroll up/down with scroll wheel, scroll bar, or arrow keys to enter or edit text ❌

I've had this annoying bug regarding Operations since at least version 9. I never see it in Open Test, because we don't have Operations in OT. But in every release, I always have this bug on my Windows Store Platform PC at work. As you can see I've already finished the Op. I have visited the Missions tab hundreds of times. It might not be a bug, and it is not only in test client. First you have to open this tab and then play any battle. After that this blue notification will disappear. This happens because the game only counts the notification as viewed when you have played one battle.

on the test client the rule is that after 30 seconds in queue you are forced into battle, no matter the player count. however if you have 2 people queuing up with a 10 second delay, then the first guy will join battle after 30 seconds but the second guy will be in the same battle after 20 seconds, of course assuming they're on the same tier

so tldr from what experienced so far :

the hit sounds are awsome ( i would argue even better than the other wot titles)

a few problems :

1. the sounds themselves are very muted in 3rd person, especially with sound systems that have allot of bass
2. the bouncing should allot more noticable
3. the destroyed module should be a louder

all in all, the sounds are awsome, just need to be tuned for 3rd person

they overall sound very ood and are absolutely an improvement. i would change a few things though:

1. make the richochet sound for bigger calibers "ring" a bit longer
   2.make the shockwave sound during ricochet a bit louder (the sound a shell makes when passing through air)
   3.increase the volume for all kinds of penetrations, bounces, ricochets for the shooting player

After more testing on more devices I summarized my results with a spreadsheet. Regardless of the sound system in my tests, some cannons sound great, even in aiming mode. As I tested a random group of tanks I realized how good or bad it sounds in game correlates to the caliber. Aiming mode still does not sound as good as arcade mode (even when it is good). Ricochet and bounce sounds are better IMO.

I wish they would give us the option to simply use arcade sounds in aiming mode all the time. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Notes about the BZ branch:

BZ-68’s top gun should have at least 560 alpha. 530 is awful for a 152.

BZ-75’s turret should receive at least a 15mm buff, those angled cheeks are way too easy to pen.

Both BZ-68 and 75 premium HE should receive better penetration (at least 190mm for the BZ-75). Paying the additional credits for HE that has to be fired at the rears of heavies is not worthwhile.

This is always the case with Open Tests. Your event resources always get deducted when you log onto the OT server. Battle Pass stuff also disappears.
This will not happen when Update 10.6 drops.

Open tests are announced in #open-test-announcements. A link is posted directing you to the WoTB forums, where you sign up. They have to create accounts for you so you have to sign up every tie to participate.
